In short, our generation is screwed, but only as screwed as every other generation.

People have been saying World War III has been around the corner since the launch of Sputnik in 1957. Things haven't changed much since then, the only difference is that the Cold War is over. Our generation is just as screwed as those before and after us, and if WW3 does indeed happen in our lifetime? Well then it wont last very long I can say that much. The key to making it through tough times is to be optimistic, otherwise you'll drive yourself bat shit bonkers.
