Yeah, your generation is totally screwed, y'all should keep playing video games and feeling sorry for yourselves instead of doing anything about it.Jagers1994 said:A powerful recession

Is the world going down the shiter to never stop or is their light at the end of the tunnel?
Although, you should know:
1. WWIII is not inevitably around the bend, The only nations that could battle on a global scale are allies and the political landscape upon which global conflict has been historically built simply does not exist. So that's nothing to worry about.
2. Terrorism by its very nature is not enough to "screw" a generation. Terrorism / Guerrilla Warfare is a statement against the ability to take significant military action.
3. Nuclear Threats? It's OK, The cold war ended in the eighties.
4. National disagreements? I'm not sure soft wood lumber can screw a generation over... I suppose if it is a generation of lumberjacks...
5. Housing Foreclosures? Come on. Seriously? That's an American issue if anything, and only impacts people borrowing against their house or people who have decided to buy a house with no money. And then, only if they are high risk, which is not nearly as common as the headlines in the Times suggest.
So, after thihnking about that, no I don't think your generation is screwed...
Christ, what is the deal with you kids? Generation X was the super cynical and disillusioned and even they did whimper and whine as much.
