It's a neat spin on the typically jRPG, although the fact that you pretty much have to buy a guide or print out a sheet from GameFAQs just to see what all the elements are and how they play off each other is really annoying. I mean some of them are obvious like fire/water/ice, but others, well there's just no way to know. The game should have a built in reference and it should always show you what elements a Pokemon has when you're battling one.
