Overall, not really; it's just that there are a few BS spots where you need absurdly good ninja skills (looking at you, Chamber 18).
I found Portal 2 to be easier than the original, and that's without even taking the advanced levels in to consideration. I loved Portal 2, but I did find the puzzle element underdone.Sunrider84 said:Portal 2 is kinda like the "Advanced chambers" in Portal, meaning it's a bit harder and a bit more restrictive, but it's still easy. Portal is a breeze.
I've heard some people say the same thing there. It might just be me who is weird, I guess. I wasn't stuck for more than a minute total in the first Portal game, everything just obvious to me. I got stuck a few times in Portal 2 though, I dunno. Maybe I'm just dumb. =(Hungry Donner said:I found Portal 2 to be easier than the original, and that's without even taking the advanced levels in to consideration. It was probly because of the long walking sections inbetween the puzzle rooms. I brezzed through all of Portal 2 as I found it easier but there where times when I was like "Where am I ment to go?", while I never had that problem in Portal 1Sunrider84 said:I've heard some people say the same thing there. I see. Well, that wasn't really a problem for me at all. I meant I got stuck on a few puzzles. Hell, I even remember why I got stuck, and when I figured it out, I felt so incredibly stupid.Titan Buttons said:It was probly because of the long walking sections inbetween the puzzle rooms. A problem that unfortunately carried over to portal 2. Also, no, just remember momentum is always conserved, as is direction relative to both portals, and you'll be fine. Friend better be losing his/her bet.scw55 said:It's only hard if you over-think it or make it more complicated than it actually is. The hardest parts are outside the test chambers because you have to play where-waldo for walls you can portal gun and actually work out where you're meant to go.
Sorry, what? The best thing about Portal's story was the fact that we knew so little about what was going on, and we didn't know about what GlaDOS' sinister plans were. It was pretty bare bones, but the mystery made it worthwhile.Quid Plura said:The appeal of the game isn't the difficulty, it's the story (which is the best reason to play the game).
