Bethesda's Morrowind and Oblivion (on the Xbox and the 360) were both pretty bad with regard to bugs and glitches as well, probably worse, in my opinion.
Anything by Bethesda is guaranteed to be a bug-fest. Maybe we should come up with a mocking name, like "M$" and "Ubisuck". Like "Bugthesda" or something.

Fallout 3 was buggy as hell too. Now I barely notice the constantly flying robots and fleeing people.

I had the RDR glitch, but it only came up after I played constantly for like six hours, and it went away after I reset.

Also, I had an AMAZING glitch in FO3. Hit a Yao Guai with the Fisto! right after getting it. It shot off like I had Falcon Pawnched it 800 times a day, for twenty years, storing all the energy for an ultra launch. It was so funny.

I never had a single bug happen to me in Red Dead. Not one single bug.

Fallout 3 had some hilarious bugs like things falling from the sky, super stretchy 40 foot tall people, massive physics bugs and I think it actually all helped the game be more random.

Some bugs were obvious determent like the 40 foot tall stretch demon people but the stuff like a deathclaw falling out of the sky random was AWESOME. Almost seemed like scripted random things to keep the wasteland fresh.

Nahhh, Bethesda are champions at that. Morrowing was glitch heaven and the Xbox version had disk read errors and Oblivion had several gamebreaking bugs (like getting stuck with Vampirism forever, quest NPC's disappearing in the world geometry and game crashes at specific points, they were fixed for the Goty though). Fallout 3 Classic was bearable, with only the odd small glitch here and there, but then they released the Goty, which on the PS3 is completely unplayable and crashes every 10 minutes and they never bothered to patch it. Having traded in my perfectly working Fallout 3 for a full-priced broken Fallout 3 Goty is what made me decide to never legally purchase another Bethesda game ever again.

I finished the story mode yesterday, only glitch I saw was Marston sinking into the floor during a cutscene, but he was back to normal when gameplay resumed.

RDR was fine for me. Maybe one time it glitched out, I think. There was basically a wall shooting me and I couldn't escape from it.

Fallout 3 was (is) the most glitchy game for me. Falling through walls; sky turning white; technicolour stone etc etc. Not to mention fairly frequent freezing...

At first I was rather miffed that RDR wasn't being released on PC at the same time as the XBox and PS3 but now I am somewhat pleased. OK I still want to play it but I hope that feedback is received and the resultant port has some of these bugs ironed out.

I got Fallout 3 about a year after it was released and it came with a patch on the disc so there were not too many glitches. However, to my great annoyance, one of my save-games must have corrupted because, when it loaded, I was stuck in a support gantry under Moriaty's in Megaton. That was the least of my worries however because all the texture was missing, resulting in plan, grey-brown blocky shapes (buildings) and the bomb now looked like a big, black rubber dildo. Before I could work out what was wrong, it began to rain various creatures and NPC's into the crater. The ones that didn't splatter began fighting a lot...fun to watch until the game crashed.

The only other major glitch that has occured with FA3 is, upon loading, I found myself outstide Vault 101 and with literally nothing in my inventory (WG was at 0). Thankfully I managed to reload using the "Autosave" rather than the "Quicksave".

The glitchiest thing I've ever played is pretty much anything by Bethesda (Oblivion, Fallout 3, etc.).
They just have an uncanny knack for making you go... "wtf"?
Love the games, though.

Well I'm playing through it at the moment on the 360 and I haven't come across any major glitches, I think the only I've seen is when the face details of npcs wouldn't load properly and they'd look a cross between zombies and cyborgs but that's rarely happened.

It's just Rockstar's engine. Same thing with Bethesda's games. They're buggy engines.

For example, in GTA4, damage any swingset, and then stand anywhere near it for a few seconds.

Never had any. It's funny really. I always hear stories about how screwed up a game is, and yet I never see it myself.
Same here. I was really looking forward to running into that donkey-woman too.

Oh well, a man can dream...

I'm annoyed that I never got to experience any of the huge glitches everyone keeps talking about, I really wanted to fight a cougar man

Yes, and I love it like this. It is so brilliant. There's a in mc whatever's farm where you can take cover, then aim at a wall and it will launch you to the highest point in the map, then you ragdoll to your death. Also, DONKEY WOMAN!

Oh yes, I saw a youtube vid where a woman had a horse's face and you could ride her. Some glitches are too fun to dismiss...
Man, I never get fun glitches.
