I think that the only glitch I ever had was when I walked over to a ledge close to Armadillo and I just slid down, like a slide, and went flying, halfway to town before dying.
the most amazing glitch we encountered was the ballistic stagecoach, and others in this thread have confirmed it.trophykiller said:could it be a problem with your console, maybe? ive seen a few glitches(like a guy sitting at a bench backwards) but nothing like what youve said. my friends havent had those problems either.
Same. I froze once, but that was me doing something stupid. I jumped off a cliff into water as my buddy was gonna make me play gang shootouts. So excluding my own debauchery, I got nothing. I did always want to ride a donkey lady, however.Joehova said:i didn't have too much trouble playing it. Maybe i got lucky?
Well, one of the drawbacks to creating huge open-world style sandbox games is that you run into the possibility of an extreme number of objects / textures / THINGS in general going on at once... often times the processor can't handle it or keep up and this results in race conditions, where a block of code is executed before it should have been, and that could lead to odd things when dealing with physics engines.Volafortis said:It's just Rockstar's engine. Same thing with Bethesda's games. They're buggy engines.
For example, in GTA4, damage any swingset, and then stand anywhere near it for a few seconds.
Yeah, Bethesda takes the cake when it comes to AAA games.latenightapplepie said:I experienced a few glitches, though most of them were pretty mild. Have you been getting the patches?
Bethesda's Morrowind and Oblivion (on the Xbox and the 360) were both pretty bad with regard to bugs and glitches as well, probably worse, in my opinion.
