Is Roland(The soldier) way too over used

Dude there is only 4 people to play from. That kind of scenario is bound to happen sooner or later, I joined a party and 3 of us were the hunter I thought he was overused, but when there are thousands playing and only 4 characters people are gonna be the same character.

In co-op I'm playing as Lilith and in single player I'm playing as Roland. IMO, he has the best action skill and overall he looks badass.
I enjoy all the characters really. I enjoy making it difficult too, for instance my first character was Lilith but I used snipers even though she's mostly a SMG, elemental type character. I also enjoy running ahead of everyone with my siren-ness and beating my friends to the weapon boxes while they fight off the baddies. Ahhh...good times. xD
I think Roland may be the most initially appealing out of the bunch. It was mine and several of my friends first pick, and we hadn't even discussed who we were choosing beforehand. It also hasn't been uncommon for me to find myself in a room full of Rolands during online play. I have seen plenty of Bricks and Liliths running around though. I would say that Mordecai is the least chosen. However, after making Mordecai with a group of friends who wanted a rounded out team, I would say he's become my favorite (in other words, more people should try him out. Attack Hawks Rock!!!).
In my opinion, Mordecai is the one over used. But since I'm Brick, I always see nobody playing as him with me.
Yeah, he is. As is Mordecai. I love Lilith. She's a skirmisher/mage. And I love running behind a boss enemy while invisible and spraying them with a full magazine of headshots after Phasewalk ends.

O.T. I play as Lilth most of the time, she's only a LVL 20 but i havent played the game too too much. Other than that I play as Roland as a secondary charactor.
Personaly i like Lilths elemental abilities and the invisability has saved my life countless times.
