Is Roland(The soldier) way too over used

I don't think it really matters about overuse of a class, it could just be a populer coinsidence that people choose Roland, i've found alot more people as Mordicai online to be fair.

In WOW there's 10 classes and I've still ended up in 4 paladin or 4 Death Knights in a group of 5 players.

suits me fine as I have no-one to battle for loot

I'm creating at least 4 save files for each class (more if I find other skill builds outside the conventional which is worth trying). Roland IMO is the perfect character for starting out the Borderland experience considering he is balanced in every way.
