Is the Human Race a failed experament

Ok, i know this might and probably will anger people in some religons but dont take this the wrong way, I'm not part of any religon so none of this is biased twords one religon. But anyway, the human race has grown out of throwing rocks to shooting supersonic bullets, missiles, planes, and probably other stuff hidden in Area 51 in just a few million years. Plus we're taking over the planet at an alarming rate, destroying rainforests just so we can acomadate ourselves in oversised homes. We're causing global warming, probably leading to the end of the world killing everything (2012). And on top of that we are figuring out how to keep ourselves alive in very strange ways such as stem cell reaserch which is prominently ending gods POSSIBLE way of keeping the human population in line and not over populating the world. But now the world is over populated and we're killing other animals just so we can live. On top of tht we're killing each other over minless reasons like paper (money) and more land for us to destroy. I think humans are like this because we are always curios and we must figure out how something works or else we'll make it work by making it up ourselves. I also beleive that humans are very greedy and that very few would say take 1 trillion dollars at the expence of a friends life rather than keeping both of you alive. So if God, or Alah or what ever your god is did creat the human speicies just to see how we would advance than I think that we are his/her failed experament and if judjment day does come (2012) then I do think our race will be ended. I am sorry if this affended anyone but that is not how it is supposed to be intended, this is just my thoughts on how humans work.

PS. Jeez, all these people calling me to a religeon becasue of a mentioning of 2012, i personaly don't think that the world will end on December 21, 2012 but it is more or less a joke in essence. But to many it isn't a joke and thats why I included it, and finaly, I DON'T BELONG TO A RELIGEON.

Paragraphs are nice eh? And your hypothesis is flawed in your perception that an experiment needs a predefined outcome, if humans were created as an experiment then destroying each other could be the expected outcome, or maybe one of many others. Hell you could argue for a being able to create worlds and people anew, that more could be learned from a species destruction than intervening and watching it flourish.

I?m an atheist before anyone draws out a brash conclusion I?m speaking hypothetically since this case requires a god. Not that this thread was really worth delving into when it really boils down into TINFOIL HAT!!!

Actually humans have only been around for about 80,000 years and we've only been firing ballistic missles, bullets and planes at each other for less then 100, okay bullets a litttle longer, but we have only really been damaging the planet for a little over a century. But I see what you are saying. Conspiracy theorists and religious nut-jobs are the only people that think 2012 is doomsday, it's never mentioned anywhere that this is the case.

Hmmm you say you aren't a religion but you kind of sounds like you are. But these things you list are harming us but no it will not kill us by 2012 (stop reading the mayan calendar). But here's my personal belief that if you honestly think a man or whatever in a white robe is standing over us playing like the sims then you sadly are mistaken because that is not how the world works. And what really angers me is how religons teach you to just "pray" and your problems are instantly solved but that is not how problems are solved in the real world. But I better end this I don't just want to make this about religon and I do not want to be flamed so I'll just say this. The end of the world is not coming anytime soon and you shouldn't let it keep you awake at night

Area 51 is for real(Camp X Ray, I think). They even had Google Earth distort the original pictures so you can't see it the way it actually is. Though it is more likely that what they have some top of the line black projects and not teh UFOs with their little green men.

even if we were an experiment the very fact that in the last 2-300 years we have made massive technological leaps we have extended our own lives improved ourselves. no longer are we a race of short people who would be luck to see the age of £35 and its really all thanks to people throwing off religion. no offence to the religous people but for 1500 years the church would not let us study dead bodies to find cures, they insisted we had to use roman and greek methods.

the greates achievements are those achieved by aithiests. even if we were a failure the failure would be not able to free our race from the shackles of religion holding us back from biological and technological advancement.
