This ***** in my "Computer application" class

She would basically sit on the computer playing games or looking at clothes and she made us neither press whole pages endless irrelevant numbers into the excel spread sheets or she would print out her teacher manual and made us teacher ourselves, again about irrelevant things in excel spreadsheet.

It would literally say "You should tell the students to..."

And one time I looked into her grade book too, NOTHING was in there, I don't even think the students names were in there. Two years before that when I had her class I did see something though, it was basically on a presentation about ourselves in a ten page slide show. And that was at the end of the year.

I spent much of my time trying to get that grade book to prove how much of a asshole that teacher was.

Well, I had an English teacher who I just couldn't get along with. Our mutual dislike of each other grew until one day when I accidentally walked in early in the middle of another student's presentation. Apparently a few other students had done the same thing, but he just told them to leave. I must have been the last straw. He completely freaked out. I don't think I have ever seen someone so angry. Mind you, this guy was the skiing coach, and one of the wrestling coaches. He was burly. It was first hour when this happened, so I was tired and confused, not really sure what I had done wrong.

After that, we got along great. Not really sure why.

Also, I had a Graphic Communications (Photoshop) teacher who couldn't quite work a computer, which was ironic. Also, on the first day, she gave us a list of "21 rules of correct art." These were things like "Correct art is large, correct art tells a story, correct art uses strong, thick lines and avoids small ones, correct art has correct proportions," etc.

That's right. "Correct" art.

i hate some dude who is "teaching" me cartel design and he talks funny like some sponge bob character XD... and i hate him! ¬¬ also when i was younger a fat biology teacher(female and bitter) put me on detention because i was defending my girlfriend at the time because she tried to hit her ... and then the fat teacher hit me and send whit the principal(which was a noon) :(
You know what sucks about my school? You can get expelled/Suspended just for trying to push a teacher out the way when they are DIRECT FUCKING IN THE DOORWAY.(Which most times its old bitter teachers that hate children.)

I'm going to do a quick diagram.

And of course me getting into my class to start off a warm-up is much less important then them yelling down a fucking hall because they don't want to talk to them.(About 30 or so feet down a hall they were apart.)

I'm so glad someone made this thread.
I have such an idiodic teacher. I'm sitting there in Honors Chem. and she is trying to explain theories first words out of her mouth were "Theories are always wrong." basically thats the point where I lost all respect for her. Then she went on to give an exaple with gravity "If I drop this eraser enough times instead of falling down it will go left" and yea thats when I pretty much thought her I.Q was actually in the negitives. There are many more examples of her stupidity but I will leave it at that.

I lost some respect from my teacher last year who said that "Evolution doesn't have much proof. It's not the law of evolution." Of course it's not a law, because it can't be. And it does have proof.

I never seem to get a teacher in the sciences that knows what their talking about. I'm a sophomore now, I shouldn't be listening to lectures and picking out things that are wrong.

10th grade Honors Chemistry teacher... makes my blood boil. I don't feel like listing off the horror stories because thinking about them pisses me off. I did find it funny when Harry Potter 5 came out and the woman playing Umbridge looked, talked, and behaved EXACTLY like her. The week after the movie came out, everyone in the school was talking about how much the two resembled.

She was the only teacher I ever hated though. For the most part, my teachers from first grade to the present have been nothing short of excellent.

my current physics teacher is the worst teacher I've ever had. i absolutely loathe him, it's unbearable. his method of teaching is "here's questions, here's how you do them, do them, see you later"

ugh.

my religion teacher last year was bad too. she was super conservative (or so it felt) and when she talked about things she was so uninformed...i couldn't stand that class.

Prepare for a rant:

i have this health/computer class teacher who is absolutely hates me for some reason. I didn't do anything to entice her, and she does these things to most of the other boys on the class, but never the girls, who apparently are little angels who are computer programmers on the side form her point of view. One day, I was sitting at my computer waiting for it to boot up, she walked up to me, yelling about why I didn't have microsoft word/macromedia dreamweaver up yet.Clearly, as she could see, I told her my computer had not yet finished initializing and activating all the necessary processes and utilities needed for it to work.
I apparently blew her mind with this one sentence, so she walked away with a frown on her face. Later, I was working on my page of health terms she wanted us to type, and asked the girl sitting beside me where 1 word was, she immediately pounced on me, telling me to leave this girl alone and stop being lazy and do my own work, this was a complete load of s@#! as the rest of the room was merrily talking away and giving answers to each other. also, we had to do a powerpoint presentation and she was grading them out loud with the whole class rating them with 4 grades on a scale of 5 to 0. First grade, whole class yells 4, she gives me that. I say to myself, im going to get a good grade on this. second grade, another 4, gives me a 3. Third grade, whole class yells 5, i get 3 again. Next grade 4, she gives me 2. This totally p!$$es me off, but I control my anger. She does the same exact thing for many other students in the class so people other than me also look pretty angry leaving her class. The recent thing she has done is this, I left for 1 period "45 minute class" to go to the dentist. Came back and there was a kid in my seat, she told me to move for the day, I moved no questions asked. Next day sat in my seat and she said she moved me. I asked why, and she said that a kid was having problems on his computer, so she put him on mine and put me on his. This p!$$ed me off even more because the computer worked fine. Which raises the questions, was this kid so incompetent as to mistake a working computer for a malfunctioning one? If the computer didn't work, why move me to that seat? Rationality behind moving me when I was gone for 1 freakin' class, plus the class is actually 90 minutes long, so I was gone for half the class and she decided to move me,to a computer that had been said to have not work, complete BS!

As someone who has dabbled in TESL and also studied a lot of different languages, I know there are a lot of people who swear by this method. I am not one of them.

I still remember my grade seven geography teacher. There was a question about the sustainability of hydro-electric power. I said it is sustainable as long humanity does not abuse the river systems. I was wrong because apparently it is not sustainable because humanity abuses the river systems. Same fucking answer! Also, on another test there was one kid that didn't know the answer a question, so he started writing the lyrics to "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" or some other popular song at the time. He got 4/5 on that question.

Still I didn't really hate him. I just didn't have any respect for him. Probably a worse thing as far as teachers are concerned. Thankfully most of my teachers from Kindy through university were good with a few who were awesome in a "Dead Poets Society" sort of way.

I had an english teacher in middle school that choked me.

Granted , I'd finish my work before all the other kids and then be a general pain in the ass every single day. So I probably deserved it.

Anyway he got fired two years later for an unrelated incident. He was letting a block of wood teach a class in his stead. (literally)

Hmm, let's see...at my high school, most of it was all right, but much of the religion department was completely and utterly dysfunctional. And they wondered why everyone was so apathetic during in-school church services...

My freshman year religion teacher was about as disorganized as it's physically possible to be. His classroom had a closet. In which papers were scattered everywhere. I am dead fucking serious. It got so bad that eventually, instead of handing your papers back to you (weeks or even months after he was supposed to), he'd simply ask if you did the homework. And always, ALWAYS believe you. Oh, the laziness THAT inspired...

My sophomore year religion teacher seemed to think she was teaching 6-year-olds. She would routinely give the entire class worksheets that could be done individually in about 5 minutes (if that), and tell us to find a partner and get them done by the end of the hour-long class. She was completely oblivious to the fact that her class was basically a second lunch (including the food). The epitome of her cluelessness came when she left the room for about 5 minutes (head of department called, it was legitimate) and by the time she came back, one of the students drew a picture of a certain part of the male body on the whiteboard. It took her 10 minutes to notice, 5 of which were spent writing on same said whiteboard. I am not making this up. I actually learned more from my freshman year than my sophomore year, which considering what THAT year was like is one hell of an accomplishment.

My junior year religion class wasn't inherently bad (even though the teacher was weird as hell, he at least knew what he was doing), but it was taught assuming you had learned something from sophomore year. And apparently, everyone else in my class had been in the OTHER religion class where the teacher was at least half decent. Cue painful year for me...

My senior year religion class had a teacher who was more of a nerd than I am. You could very easily distract that class by talking to her about videogames. I actually spent a good amount of off-class time talking to her. She hasn't been on IM in a long time. Guess how I know that.

And by the way, going completely off topic here, but am I the only one to have misread that WoW ad as saying "Wrath of the Ugh King"?

I had a 6th grade English(Portuguese) teacher that was the worst, most unpleasent ***** ever. One of my classmates started smelling something (dont remember what, but it was a really strong smell) and she said: "Teach, this smell gives me headaches. Can I switch seats?"
"I dont smell it, so NO"
Keep in mind that the teacher was about 10 feet away from her.
Later, I wrote and dedicatted that song to my colleague.

I had one teacher who helped me pursue me IT career by banning me from doing year 11 and 12 IT, VCE for any Australian Victorians here, at the end of year 10. The worst thing about it was I had completed all my work in his class usually 30 minutes into a 1 hour and 30 minute class and would sit on the net for the rest.
