I like Nintendo. They have basically the only console I'm interested in this generation and I have always liked their consoles. Although my 3DS has gone unplayed for awhile.

Nintendo will always have a place with me, even though I can't move myself to spend paper for the Wii or Wii-U yet. I have a little one, so that might happen soon, but not yet.
Too many sequels of games that came out 20 years ago. Can you believe that? Twenty. Years. Ago. I still can't hate them.

They aren't my favorite, but I think Nintendo's pretty cool. I wish they'd experiment and take more risks with their titles but generally the stuff is quality.

They gave me Paper Mario TTYD which is the closest to a perfect game I've ever played (Ratchet & Clank: Crack in Time has that spot now). Monolith Soft's new Wii U title and SMT x FE are coming from them so, yeah, I'm a fan. Go nintendo!
I'll get a Wii U right after the PS4 and Infamous.

I'm gonna say the same thing I said in the "does anyone hate Nintendo thread" just below..

I like Nintendo games, but not enough to actually buy a Nintendo console to play them, Gamecube was awesome though.

I like Ninteno,

and love (numerous) Nintendo games.

I really don't think their sticking to a well-rounded library of core franchises is doing the industry any harm, especially because they're always of consistent quality. And it's not like they NEVER have new franchises.

Yeah it kind of sucks for those people who do not wish to pay for an extra console just to play their games (I am not among those people, to clarify). But in a world where two other console manufacturers vehemently oppose the inevitable future of PCs and TVs merging into singular devices, I can't entirely blame them.

And yes, they've done some things I don't like (don't make another NSMB, for the love of god, and fire whoever was the creative lead on Sticker Star), but has everyone.

misusing literally
hmmph, well...

I would argue that to be the devaluing the meaning of a word that is the only one of its kind. Even words like 'genuinely' and 'truly' are easily swept under hyperbole, but literal definition is supposed to be objective.

I don't think many people hate Nintendo at all. What you're confusing for hate is just getting tired of them making the same game over and over. Just because Mario U wasn't very innovative doesn't mean it's a bad game, and I don't hate it individually, I just wish Nintendo did something a bit crazy outside of their console hardware for once.
I am going to do terrible things to you with a watermelon for reminding me of that. REAR THINGS. REAR WATERMELON THINGS.

I'm rather neutral towards them. They're just kind of "there", providing us with the same old games over and over.

The classic Nintendo I freaking loved, just about every aspect of their old consoles and games were really good in almost every way. Then the Wii came out and changed all that to the worst. The Wii U is a big improvement but now I'm waiting to see if they can still deliver great titles like they used to.

Frankly, I reckon they're always good to have around, even when their titles become lackluster with shitty motion controls. We need at least one option if we get sick of playing 'serious' games all the time. I could never completely hate them.

I say they've lost that magic touch, but I really would like a PROPER sequel to Melee so I'm waiting for that still.
