plus, y'all have a 99.9% chance of... you know... 'climaxing' during sex. We only have a 40% chance, and that's a liberal estimate. And also, you'll never have to deal with a guy being mad at you because you 'emasculated' him by beating him at a sport of video game. "Oh, hun, you have to make less than I or i won't be able to stick it up" ugh.
Also, the internet, and increasingly pop culture, is full of sexist shit.
OT: men don't have to deal with any of this shit
hmm Ill tryNorthernStar said:I'm no male but I'll give you my two cents based on pure speculation.
And yeah, sorry, but I'm gonna say the pee standing up thing as well. I cannot, for the life of me, pee anywhere except on a toilet which is very annoying when you're taking very very very long trips. Especially when a guy can just whip it out and pee anywhere he wants.
And this probably won't go for all guys, but one of the things I like about them so much is that hanging out with them is, in general, less complicated than hanging out with women. In general, if a man has a problem with you, he'll tell you to your face. Unfortunately, this is less common with most girls. So.. simplicity might be the word I'm looking for here, though not meant in a bad way.
But yeah, as someone mentioned earlier, I am also starting to get curious about that list of things that are so good about being a female.
Well, hate to burst that bubble, but you can be judged like hell for not being 'feminine' enough ;-) Or, in other cases, being too feminine. I guess that's just something that applies to both sexes.Vault101 said:hmm Ill try
"in certain situations" wont get the crap beaten out of you for being "not manly" enough
and dont have to comform to (downright retarded) rules and veiws on "masculinity" <-again that one only comes up in certian situations
can have multiple orgasms (I think)
can probably get away with geeky things more without being labled a "loser"
having interests in certain things can get you attention..though often it might not be wanted
evolutionary, it's not surprising.Vault101 said:40%??? seriously?iRevanchist said:"Don't bother your pretty little head with that stuff"

oh, and sorry for making you depressed. here's Professor Snugglesworth to cheer you up!
are people really that "up front" about that kind of thing? *sigh* well I supose it would give you an excuse to release some rightous anger..but that sucks..NorthernStar said:Well, hate to burst that bubble, but you can be judged like hell for not being 'feminine' enough ;-) Or, in other cases, being too feminine. The orgasm thing is true though, then again, there's also the issue of the difficulty with which the orgasm is achieved. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've always had the experience that men achieve orgasm easier and faster than females. Of course, the intensity may differ.
Hrm... the interest in geeky things is an interesting one. I'm female and I've worked in a game store, went to game expo's, etc. That has some positive sides as most guys will generally appreciate it if a girl likes 'geeky' stuff. Then again, I've had customers refusing to talk to me because they were convinced I wasn't knowledgeable enough because I was a female and I've had men ridicule me at gaming events, asking me whether I was there to be a booth babe and that the household fair was in another building.
This stuff probably warrants a topic in its own right, though![]()
People are really that 'up front' about it. The examples I gave you really happened, and more than once, I'm afraid. In fact, once, it was actually a woman who refused to talk to me because she was convinced my male colleagues were more knowledgeable than me. Sad, but true. I try to shrug it off though. If they're stupid enough to believe some old stereotype, it's their loss.Vault101 said:are people really that "up front" about that kind of thing? *sigh* well I supose it would give you an excuse to release some rightous anger..but that sucks..NorthernStar said:Well, hate to burst that bubble, but you can be judged like hell for not being 'feminine' enough ;-) Or, in other cases, being too feminine. dort of like today theres a comic book store in my city (that I recently found out about) Im planning to visit it...but the Idea of going in makes me feel uncomfortable..
I did, and it was good (but seriously...why is it they always have number 2 6 or 8 of a series of paperbacks but NEVER #1??? I want to start at the start dammit!)NorthernStar said:People are really that 'up front' about it. The examples I gave you really happened, and more than once, I'm afraid. Just go into the comic store. Why should it make you feel uncomfortable?
Actually, this has to be the biggest plus I've seen in the thread. I love the occasions when I just let my mind idle, but my female relatives (my mom in particular) seem to be incapable of this zen-lite technique.Lightning Delight said:I was actually talking about this with some of my friends today. We discovered that all of the women I know are incapable of thinking about nothing. Men can just blank our minds and stare absently into space, but apparently women cannot do this. They are unable to not think. I like to think that's a plus.
