Location doesn't have anything to do with it. Pizza is Italian...Lonely Swordsman said:Pizza was invented by an Italian immigrant in America. So it could qualify.Pr0 InSaNiTy said:Pizza is Italian so that would be impossible for it to be the American national dish.Mcupobob said:Pizza or some kinda chicken.
OT: Probably Corn/Chilli dogs???
Your neighborhood beats mine. Within walking distance of my outer urban enclave I have...let's see. About 10 fast food joints and a mall food court with a bunch of fast food of its own. Comes with living right by a freeway exit.Berethond said:I'm actually not sure. From my house in the suburbs I can walk to an Italian restaurant, six Mexican Taquerias, an Armenian restaurant, two Thai restaurants, several Chinese restaurants, a Vietnamese restaurant, and an Indian restaurant. They all serve authentic food, and in most of them they have to translate the menu for me. There's so much diversity that it's impossible. Heck, I don't even think my city could decide on a dish.
My city is very diverse. We have the largest population of Hmongs, Philipinos, and Armenians outside of their native country. It's only 34% white, actually. It's quite extraordinary.SimuLord said:Your neighborhood beats mine. Within walking distance of my outer urban enclave I have...let's see.
