Yes sir. I will keep my opinions to myself from now on instead of asking other people what they think.TheKasp said:No. It is a normal club-song. Plenty of people will be drunk and enjoy dancing to it. It is not even outstanding.
So please tone down the condescending lingo.
Uhh... you know noise music can be really good, right? I love jamming some Merzbow every now and then. Also there's plenty of industrial music and musique concrète that would classify also as noise that I find really fascinating and enjoyable. Even the extreme dissonance of some of Stavinsky's work can classify as some sort of anti-music.Shamanic Rhythm said:Because listening to this song genuinely got me wondering what the definition of music is and whether or not there's some kind of baseline of rhythmic, melodic or harmonic structure a piece has to attain to be considered music as opposed to just noise. Is there some kind of law against airing these thoughts?
I actually laughed so much at that song, I don't even know what that is. My best guess is some "emo kids" doing a song about "da club" and some bloke going "YAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!" in the background. The funniest bit is where they are actually screaming at the girls and the girls look distinctly uncomfortable. If you can't laugh at that, you can't laugh at anything.ron1n said:Ok I see your terrible song and raise you the actual worst song ever:
And yeah, music is subjective blah blah blah, but if you actually think ^ that isn't terrible....
I...don't even.
Damn I haven't listened to Opeth in years. Thanks for the reminder. I used to jam Blackwater Park constantly back in school.suitepee7 said:now to clean my ears
You mean "manah manah"? The one that muppets have a famous parody of?Baffle said:I haven't even watched the video and I'm still fairly sure it isn't going to be as bad as Shampoo's Uh-oh We're In Trouble. Or that song that was just made up words. I can't really tell how to spell it, but it was something like Muh-Num-En-Arr:
No way! No way!
Muh-Num-En-Arr
For the record, I'd like to say something. I listened to that song so much at point, it became good. Only for like a week, but what a week!Kenbo Slice said:snip
why'd you have to bring up that embarrassment?!Vault101 said:I'm just waiting for someone to post Nicki Minage's "stupid hoe"
It's music.Shamanic Rhythm said:I don't even know how this qualifies as music, to be honest. I'm starting to believe all those people who wrote about degeneration might have been right.
Don't get so hung up over bad music, it just means you're getting older, people are pretty much hardwired to hate the shit the next generation produces (as they should, the music is made to make them pissed off).the science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal relationships to produce a composition having unity and continuity
Ah, The Shaggs. Terrible, terrible memories have surfaced from my broken childhood. Good times.small said:
