is Yartzee being too harsh on the Wii?

Yahtzee's typical critiques (bad motion controls, few and hackneyed games by first-party producers, and bad graphics) seem perfectly legitimate and are the very reasons why I decided to sell my Wii years ago. Simply put, the system does not create the games I want to play.
OT: Yahtzee garders an audience because he was one of the first to speak directly and not patronize gamers for the sake of selling titles. I would rather have him speak his mind about a console or game than have him dance around it. It's counterintuitive.

the wii is overrated by casual family games. the motion control is both unresponsive, but also boring.
well, it still has some good games like Twillight Princess, SSBB, MK Wii (mario kart, not mortal kombat), Bomberman Wii, Paper Mario and the Virtual Console.
but the console itself is shit, since most of its games look like cakefuck.

No...only if Nintendo didn't send out so many third party games that are underdeveloped yet overpriced would he be too harsh. Till then, Nintendo needs to start making a quality product like its competition rather than banking on previous innovation. I'm starting to get sick of nintendo and it's shoddy product. Just as I'm sick of xbox and its crappy red ringing product.
