Among some other events, this was the day of the first attack on the world trade center. Not only was that my birthday, it was the day I was born. It's also the day Napoleon Bonaparte escaped from Elba in 1815.
I also share a birthday with Johann Sebastian Bach, Victor Hugo, and Johnny Cash.

Also, it's the international day of peace, which is funny considering I hold the opinion that we've spent too long without any real war, which has led to stupid fixations of the superfluous and superficial, as seen by looking at most stuff being sold today, with a bigger focus on looks than functions, and the likes.
