1776 ? The Continental Congress appoints Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman, and Robert R. Livingston to the Committee of Five to draft a declaration of independence.
1963 ? American Civil Rights Movement: Alabama Governor George Wallace stands at the door of Foster Auditorium at the University of Alabama in an attempt to block two black students, Vivian Malone and James Hood, from attending that school. Later in the day, accompanied by federalized National Guard troops, they are able to register.(Woo!)

The worst one though? John Wayne died on June 11. NOOOOOOO.

Well on April 9th 1968 Martin Luther King Jr was laid to rest but apart from that not much. I do share my birthday with two of my favourite singers though and I was born on Good Friday so does that make me the anti christ?

It doesn't happen every year but sometimes I'm lucky enough (sarcasm) to have my birthday fall on Superbowl Sunday. I think Chinese New Year may happen on/around my birthday too...the year I was born, I was born before CNY so instead of being a Dragon I'm actually one of the last 1987 Rabbits (multiple place-mats confirm this as I'm more like the rabbit than the Dragon anyway).

I celibate my birthdays by eating a Mille-feuille (also known as Napoleon cake). Not because I really care that much about Napoleon, but rather because those cakes are damn delicious!

My birthday is on October 5th. It's not special, in fact it is ridiculously common for babies to be born on that day.

Looked up history- nothing interesting really that relates to October 5th. Such a bummer but I am still proud of the day I was born. Because with each year, it's what I do that makes me appreciate being alive after all. :}

What do you mean its not really interesting? Its when Steve jobs died!

Mine is 18th of December, it's special because it celebrates the day i was born (Also Christmas is only in a week or so)

It's a drag when your parents decide to celebrate your birthday and Christmas at the same time to save on presents.

It's even worse when your birthday's in June.

I was born the day after the 40th anniversary of D-Day. I share a birthday with Prince, Liam Neeson, Mick Foley, and Alois Hitler (Adolf's dad). June 7 is also the anniversary of the Port Royal earthquake and the first flight of the Boeing 777.
