Sure, quite a few things. I live in Crown Point, Indiana. Its home to the courthouse where John Dillinger made his infamous escape. Also, the Lake County Fair is held here every year.

Also, Jerry L. Ross and Dan Plesac are a few of the famous people who came from my town.

Who could forget that?

Can't believe mum actually dragged me to see Transformers 2.

I still hold that against her.
Yeah my family has no taste in movies... it's my cousins favorite movie of all time...(my other cousin)
and he thinks he can judge my favorite movie of all time... being Blade Runner...
Transformers 2 should never be anyone's favourite movie.

Ever.

Though good choice on yours. Blade Runner fucking rules. Oh how I love you Harrison Ford ^-^
I know it got me into Cyberpunk which is how I found my favoritest anime show of all time and one of my favoritest bands of all time...I would totally have Harrison Ford's child...
What would your favourite anime and bands of all time be? I totally would too along with Patrick Stewart's
Serial Experiments Lain would be my favorite anime show of all time and Radiohead would be my favorite band... their song Paranoid Android from OK Computer was used as the ending song on the show Ergo Proxy... which is Cyberpunk and awesome...Yeah and Christian Bale too... all he has to do is put on his batman voice and clothes magically disappear...lol...
Great fucking pick for favourite band. Don't know that anime, but Radiohead is amazing and I love them to death. Got to see them live about 2 or so years ago.

Still the best show I've ever seen.

Ew, Bale??? He's way too much of an asshole. That video of him yelling at the poor light guy was it for me. He lost all sexiness then XD
Really I did a review a while ago and you were one of the few people who commented... and the main character is my avatar... http://www.escapistmagazine.com/for...c-tastic-Anime-Review-Serial-Experiments-Lain
Yeah Radiohead was the first bands I completely fell in love with... the entire OK Computer album is the most listened to on my Ipod...

That's why I want the batman persona... batman is just that awesome... unless of course I can get Adam West to do it...
Oh really? Sorry, I don't remember. I'll have to read that again.

Yeah, OK Computer is fucking awesome. Though, The Bends is my personal favorite with In Rainbows close behind

Well that goes without saying. Adam West is just amazing :D

A guy tried to rob a bank here using a dead-man's switch. When he tried to pull a gun on a hostage (who was an undercover cop), a police sniper shot him and he blew himself up. Makes a good local joke.

Hey, what was the colour of the CIBC robber's eyes? Blue! One "blue" that way, one "blue" that way.

Forney, Texas has a fountain. You see, many town have fountains, but none such as devious as this one. What makes this fountain such a conjurer or misfortune? During the first cross-country drive, the car came to Forney, and crashed into the fountain. The trip had to come to a halt, and the person driving had to re-start. Good stuff.

My town is nothing special, but Ted Bundy was born in a nearby one, and Ben and Jerry originated here as well.

First ever and largest redneck magnet Bass Pro Shop. And I went to the same high school as Brad Pitt (and see why he never comes back to visit).

I live in Tennessee. It's known for 2 things; racism and intolerance.
Hey, thats messed up. I'm in Tennessee, and we are very good people here.

OT:
Well, it's next to a military base, and Jimi Hendrix lived here for a few years. So I'm pretty proud of that.

An episode of The X-files took place in my hometown. Supposedly. I watched the episode in question, and I didn't recognize a single place. It may be that it takes place here, but wasn't actually shot here.

Also, it's a neighbor to the meth capital of the world. So it sort of basks in the reflected glory[/sarcasm] and propane fumes of that.

Tina Fey is from my town. She used the public high school here (where she went) as inspiration for Mean Girls.

Also, I live near Philadelphia, which is known for all sorts of things. Birthplace of the nation, Liberty Bell, cheesesteaks, throwing snowballs at Santa Claus...

Biggest pot bust in Canadian history.

At least it was making good use of the abandoned brewery.

And, most importantly, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

It's the Capital of my state. Other than that, not much.
Also, I have exactly 5 game retailers here... it's just that for some reason they're all in THE EXACT SAME PLAZA. IT HAS NO POINT.
