Yes actually, a very large number of things, In Jeffersonville, Indiana, we have the worlds smallest block (street term, not building block), The very first Papa Johns (aka Mick's Lounge), and in a town over (Clarksville, Indiana) the very first Texas Roadhouse (Go figure, something that should have been created in Texas...) and many more things but I'm too tired to list them.

I really liked Pitch Black but I thought The Chronicles Of Riddick was ok it's just like yahtzee said Vin Diesel just didn't understand what made the first such a great movie... and the animated one was ok if a little brief it did it's job...
I can admit that it wasn't as good as Pitch Black, but I still liked CoR.

They made an animated movie?
yeah it came in the box set...

Ah, Dallas. I live in Rockwall, which is a suburb of dallas. I think a resident of Rockwall, Jason Castro, was in American Idol.

My hometown produces a lot of NHL players and the band Finger 11 is from here. And that's just sports and entertainment; we also have a very rich history and are known for our cars and salt among other products.

Taken directly from our Wikipedia entry:

In 1908, John Closner, William Briggs, Argyle McAllen, Plutarco de la Viña and Dennis B. Chapin developed a new community (the town square of which is now located at the crossroads of U.S. Highway 281 and State Highway 107). The town was named Chapin in honor of one of the developers. It became the county seat of Hidalgo County in a dramatic, nighttime covert operation in which the county records were removed from the previous county seat, Hidalgo, Texas.[4] When Dennis Chapin was involved in the shooting death of Oscar J. Rountree at the Dan Breen Saloon in San Antonio, Texas [5], the community changed its name to Edinburg to honor John Young, a prominent businessman who was born in [6] Edinburgh, Scotland. The town was incorporated in 1919.
Also, Obama totally dropped by our university during the campaign and we drew some flack when people didn't want to allow Hilary Clinton on campus a few days earlier.

Oh, well that explains it.

If it were Michael Bay though, the enemies would all be foreign, the music would all be that semi patriotic bullshit and the hero would be obviously American and makes no attempts to hide it.

Who could forget that?

Can't believe mum actually dragged me to see Transformers 2.
