I'm progun. However, I would say you must pass a certain test and age to have one. I'm also willing to say that only teachers should have them in school.

Keep that shit away from kids. And teach them not to use them. And lock them. and not have them loaded.
All in all, I would hold the parents accountable for this. Regardless of what gun laws a country has, leaving the gun in an area accessible by a 7 year old can only lead to pain a misery.
In Australia guns must be secured in an immovable safe. Until recently the ammo also had to be kept separately( A second secure cabinet). Do the gun laws in America have any regulations like this, or are people permitted to store them in whichever way they see fit? Just a bit curious.
