So, to clarify, does anyone want to come back to my place afterwards, or do you think we should all say our goodbyes at the train station?
I can't come to that, I'm afraid. I don't drink anyway...

Aw, man! You guys should totally do this again in June or December. Then I'd have no reason not to come!

Just imagine .. YouTube gathering and Escapist gathering in one. I think I'm having an orgasm! There's no way I would pass up on that!

[sup]execpt that I might not have the money for the travel, since I'm allways buying a new console, and have to go to the dentist, and are upgrading my computer, and are buying loads of clothes[/sup]
I swear. If you'd pull this off at approximately the same time as YouTube. I'll even sell my other computer to go!

It's very unlikely, I know -.-
We're liable to discuss another on the day, though any number of dates could be thrown out there.

Yeah. But when I think about it, it might be a bit more clever for me to wait a year or so. I mean I'll have to gather around 5k$ just to travel to Australia, and hotels and crap. I don't know how much hotel-rooms are in Australia. But I'm guessing they're not a whole lot of cheaper than Norway. Wait! I might ask someone to sleep at their place ... Although I doubt that'll work. I'm not very ... How to say .. Populare ... Yes .. Populare ..

Now 5000 might not seem like very much. But I like to have at least a thousand extra, to cover all possible unforeseen costs. And I do have to go to the dentist, save money for uni, and be able to pay my apartment -.-

Who said anything about drinking? I just meant hang around, play some games or something.
It's more a point of I need to be on a relatively early train home.

Sorry for the double post, but this is important.

OP has been updated with a link to a trip planner because CityRail and the like are doing Easter fuckeries during our little meet-up. How inconsiderate, I know. Everyone please check your details.

Does anyone have a Handheld camcorder [http://www.uncrate.com/men/images/sony-DCR-DVD403-camcorder.jpg] or something similar? It'd be awesome to film the day then put the video up for others to share in our wonder. Could even do snippets of interview. Please let me know or just bring it on the day. Having something with which to edit the video afterwards would help. I know that iMovie's one possibility.

Um...would New Rocks be considered sensible shoes?
Probably not?
I'm wearing my Fleuvogs. By "sensible" I believe they mean covered, not something like stilettos or thongs.

I know. It's such a pity. Wear them next time you're down in Wollongong instead. I'll bring the camera.

In addition, I just checked how far away Pancakes On The Rocks is.

Red spot is centre. "A" is Pancakes.
While the option to get a train or a bus there is open, it seems a little far to walk. Perhaps we go somewhere else to munch. Suggestions? There's always Paddy's Market, that's closer to the lasertag, and there's the option of the arcade next to the food court.

Hey, I feel a bit like I'm barging in, but would it be okay for me and my friend to join in for the game of laser tag? While we're not regulars to forums (I registered for this post), we both watch ZP religiously and are like minded gamer-people.

Honestly? I don't think so. I booked for 12-15 people and that's full. How many have you got? You might be able to sneak a few in depending on the number who actually turn up to this event. That said, you'd be booked for the bowling too if you came to this. The lot of you are welcome to join us afterwards in the food and such, just check to see where we're going to be.

Ah, if you're already full then nevermind, I though you might have been but my friend saw this and thought we should ask if we could tag along. Thanks anyway, have fun.

I'm currently messaging a few people to clean up the list, so if any places open up I'll let you know. How many?

Just two, me and my friend. If slots do open up send me a message and I'll check tomorrow, I'm going to head to bed now. Thanks for the offer.

Bumped for closeness.

There is actually a Pancakes on The Rocks in Darling Harbour, just underneath the Pyrmont Bridge. I'm a little geographically disoriented with that map, but if it's a short walk to the Darling, it's a short walk there as well.

If the Bowling/Laser Tag place is the one I'm thinking of, Pancakes is downstairs.

By the way, can you give a more exact description of where we'll meet up? Are we meeting the Eddy Avenue exit (the one I'm thinking of) or somewhere else?

There needs to be a Bristol meet-up at some point. We're all a bit lazy to be honest.
Bristol? So we can all take pills and go to a rave and drink Strongbow? Pass.
/\ Epic Win.

Ah well, I live in freezing cold rainy, recession-strapped, New Labour Mainland Britain. So go and enjoy "a bonza pint a' Fosters."

Seeing as my plane gets in at 7.30 or so and we're planning to meet at 9.30-10 I have a feeling I'll know central inside and out by the time you guys show up. I'd like to know as well, but I still don't think we'll have any problems.

I doubt I will either, but Central's a pretty damn big place.

I'm just making sure I've got a good idea of where my dad should drop me off; my parents are a bit skeptical (after all, this is the internet) so they want to park nearby so that my dad can meet you before he heads off.

It's good to know they care, I know they're just doing their job as parents.
