Question: how do you know if they games got worse after FF7? Have you played them? Why did you buy them if you don't have any more hope for the series? *confused* I only partially played 8 (third disc, lost memory card), played 10, partially played 12 (then I got my 360). Liked them all, 10 is the best. Was FF7 really so epic? Or is this nostalgia speaking? *honestly curious*

Madden/NBA/Other Sports games that come out with a new version each year, each with "realistic graphics" and "manager mode". Stop. You cannot replicate real life physics. Managing a sports team is boring. Stop trying to make my gaming boring.
Game-Movies. Any movie based on a video game, if produced by a major Hollywood producer, will fail miserably. It sucks. Always.

i played most all of the games sense the second one as they came out. ff7 was and is a great game but it wasn't the best ever. i guess that after i beat that one i had a hole i had to fill because surly the new ff would be better. but i am a sucker for the ff series and i liked them all but they weren't the same as my old friend 7.

as for spin offs and direct squeals they all sucked (other than tactics of course that areies is a completely different thing all together)
