I'll say. They should take Heroes off the air, I don't know what went wrong, but it started going downward at season 3. Scrubs should too, it was a great series up to season 4 or 5, but now it's just a cow tired of getting milked.

I'm going to have to say Star Wars, I love the series but that shitty show on cartoon network is unbearable, however after the event of George Lucas's death the franchise will be reborn with the rights going to one of the better authors of the books and the series will regain it's undeniable epicness.

1) I'd like to say Final Fantasy, but considering everything else Square has done (with the exception of Chrono Trigger), I think they should stick with their winning formula. Now that they have Eidos Square Europe, shit is going to get weird on a global scale.

2) Nintendo and Sega's flagship characters were good until both companies started sleeping with each other.

4) Halo. There's what, five games now? Face it Bungie, no matter how much money you make you will never make another series as badass as Marathon.

I don't see the point of this thread, if you don't like something then fine, but don't complain. If I have to answer the thread properly, I'm not a big fan of EA's sports games that get released every single year. But that's no need to make it give up. I simply ignore it. It's that metality that keeps turning Halo and Twilight threads into flame wars, after all.

Sonic could be cool again- its not his fault they keep letting chimps make his games. It'd be nice of they stopped whoring him out to crap Mario sports games, too...

i say the next sonic game should return to its roots. a primarily 2d running platformer. and to make it worth while make the game with hires sprites and remove all voice acting.

if they put a lot of genuine effort into it, they could make another good game. but sonic and the world of 3D just don't seem to mesh very well

Erm...welcome to the world bud. People complain, that's how it is and always will be. And for the record I liked the Final fantasy series right up until the origional creator:Hironobu Sakaguchi left the developement team and made a new studio unrelated to the series. One of the games he made was Lost Odyssey, similar to FF but infinitely better in my opinion.

They aren't even sequels. With the exception of X and X-2, no game has been a direct sequel of any other.

Actually the first 5 or so had the exact same story: crystals that need to be collected by a group of chosen heroes.
Crystal Chronicles went back to that same idea.

Then they realized that dropping everything fantasy related would make it sell better when they made Final Fantasy 6.
