Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal

... Wait, those are actually awesome. Uh... Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. It's just so generic. 'The Next Chapter'? That is to game titles what 'Reloaded' is to movie titles.
I always thought those games had double-entendre names, there's also Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters

OT: "Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?"

Half Life.

...why is it considered half a life? (Note: I haven't played it beyond the first hour or two. Got intensely bored, thoughti t was junk, and went to go play more Ace Combat IV.)
It's called Half-Life because it refers to the 'half-life' of a radioactive element.

...I'm sorry, what?

I'd also like To point out Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty and Ratchet & Clank: Sive Matters. The creators must be seriously fustrated.

Magic The Gathering sounds dumb on close thought, I mean it is a lovley card game, but why is the title backwards? But then if it was the right way around, it would have still sounded dumb, Gathering The Magic? No, or they could call it " Cigam Eth Gnitehtag " or " Gnirehtag Eth Cigam " , looks like Welsh doesn't it?

The original developers were Japanese, and they were looking for an english translation for "stubborn ape." For stubborn, the word they found was donkey, and for ape they found kong. At least that's what I heard. It's still pretty dumb.

Donkey Kong, how can an ape be a donkey?
Wikipedia says the creator thought "Donkey" meant stupid. He was laughed at when he proposed the name but the name stuck.

New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii I mean. When it was released on DS years ago, not exactly new. Or am I missing the point on that one?
