He would never be facing a battalion of tanks. You would take him into Germany covertly to destroy Hitler with his bare hands. He wouldn't be fighting in Africa against Rommel's tanks you silly biscuit . The most amount of tanks he would face at once would be 2 or 3 and that's a worse case scenario.

Besides, if he can handle destroying tanks in the year 2552, I think he can handle destroying 1944 tanks. And besides, the guy is practically invincible.
