Hah, remind me of French friend when I said I do not eat McDonalds. I'm a bad American, explains much of the confusion.
Hmm, so are you implying that being a bad American is a good thing?

I did not imply good sir, you inferred much to my chagrin. It is a thing, a thing I have been told by Americans and un-Americans (foreigners) alike. I have no view on the matter as I think there are no criteria to meet to be a proper citizen does not exist. I just do not care for fast food is all.

I don't know, not being opinionated and having no love for fast food is a considerably un-Amerian way of thinking...
You had better make sure there are no bugs, no wire taps... You might be committing high treason you know that?

I've never watched NFL or any kind of American Football. I love with a a burning passion Association Football, or Soccer, and watch matches every week, especially (club) DC United and (country) United States!

Now, if that doesn't set off some alarm bells, I might have to consider other countries have good ideas to really set them off.

When we're in the same f*cking month as it.

Now I love Christmas ("presents? Why thankyou!"), but I saw adverts for sorting out your Christmas shopping in AUGUST.

CHRISTMAS ADS IN SUMMER. GAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!
well us here in the southern hemisphere enjoy a summer Christmas every year... so summer Christmas advertising doesn't invoke such outbursts...
Replace the word summer with winter then and you get the idea.

I personally refuse to acknowledge the Christmas/holiday season until Black Friday. Not a day before, no exceptions.

Happy Saturnalia.
