I escaped for a bit to get out of the annoying philosophical debate between my brother and my dad, where my dad keeps changing opinions and then blaming everyone else. He's a sweetie most of the time, but a pint of beer later and a subject of conversation he doesn't agree with leads to me wanting to tear my hair out. Thus, the escapist, my friend in need.

Pretty much this. The presents have been opened, dinner has been had, and there's nothing on TV.

When she gets back, we may have a mini second dinner to accompany the Christmas Eve dinner and stuff. But nothing will really happen majorly today.
