She cheated on me and told me it was my fault for not being there, we had been together a year, moved in for a month and she was never home and always with her mates that she didn't want me to meet from her new workplace.
That sucks. I really hate people who do that. I mean, if you have an issue in a relationship, how about actually saying what your problem is and working it out instead of cheating behind someone's back? I just don't understand it. Also, when someone wants to break up, they need to man-up and be respectful about it. Don't blame it all on the other person.

Sounds like you're a lot better off without her.
Been there.

No no, I dont like these other guys. They're just my friends

*Leaves her boyfriend standing in the rain to go hangout with her best "friend" that is constantly flirting with her*

She didn't like my buddy and since she knew that if she gave me the "it's him or me" choice I would have chosen my buddy then she felt she had no choice but to end things

Found out about a week later that she had been cheating on me

I've had "I'm just not in the right place for a relationship now", followed by her dating someone (who she just met) withing 2 weeks. That was 3 years ago and they are still together as far as I know. I think she was lying...

Took me a while to get over that one.

Hmm, the stupidest one that has personally happened to me was

''I don't deserve someone like you.''

I don't really dislike people with low self confidence, but if I like you and I want to be with you, it should be enough for you to stay with me rather then chicken out because you don't feel like you're good enough...
HA! I heard that one too!
Looks like we got a challenger. I got: "I don't watch movies." Oh yes! Surrender your crown.

On topic: I was once told, "If I have to tell you, then that proves I should be leaving you."
Also got, "It's not that I have sexual or romantic feeling for him, it's just that I'm afraid of the feelings I have for you and he's like my best friend." ... Yes, her best friend she happens to boink.

Fun Times!

I went out with a girl that I'd liked her for sometime but she was with another lad, so now she was single I asked her out she said yes and on the second day after I'd left her to go to class her friend followed me and told her that she wasn't ready for a relationship infront of these random girls who were sitting in the corridor, I felt like smashing the door down and screaming WTF but I just left, her loss right I found the perfect woman a few months later ;)

(Said after a couple of Dates) "I'm not ready for another relationship just yet." I guess 3 days is a long time for a girl. Worst part was that we were once good friends.

Well recently, she just stopped liking me in that way.

That kind of frustrates me because even though I do nothing wrong I still can't keep a relationship going.

"I thought you punk guys put out."

She's the one who told me she wanted to wait until marriage to have sex. Turns out she said that to see if I'd push her into it, which is what she wanted.

Another one told me I wasn't good for her image. Another told me she didn't like the music I listened to, and that it was too violent and she couldn't handle all the negative emotions.

The best one was the girl who got pissed at me for knocking the crap out of this sleazy guy who grabbed her ass. She later told me she had the hots for him, and dumped me for him that same day.

Around the next week she comes to me, all teary eyed, telling me some sob-story of how he was cheating on her and how she wanted me back. I told her to shove it.

one fun one was when i came home one night and logged onto facebook. my gf had been posting statuses about some guy she met at practice (diving). I waited a day and she started talking to my best friend about him. I finally asked her about the other guy, and she got mad about how "i don't trust her" then not only breaks up with me but tells me she can't put up with me anymore. like i did something wrong

"Listen Josh I really like you and all, and I know I said I really like you, but my mom doesn't want me to date." Yes I am Josh, and you are a *****.

Well, it doesn't quite count as a breakup, but one girl declared that dating wasn't a good idea... after she all but told me to ask her out. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

I do the breaking up. I'm commitment-phobic like that.

But one time I broke up with a boyfriend because he forgot my birthday. Well, not only because of that, but that was the last straw. So... yeah, don't forget the birthdays, girls don't like that >.>

EDIT: Just so I don't come off as a huge *****, we had been dating for nearly two years. And my birthday is on St. Patrick's Day, so it certainly isn't hard to remember.

My half black girlfriend broke up with me because i "was not sensitive to her racial struggle"

First, she was from suburbia, and never had to struggle except to get in and out of her escalade.
Second, she looked white and noone ever knew she was part black except me and her close friends...
Third, the reason she thought i wasnt sensitive was because of a joke that went a little something like this...
"Hey [HALF BLACK DOUCHE EX OF MINE] Do you know what time Chinese people go to the dentist???..?.....?...Tooth Hurty. Get it? Tooth Hurty. HA!"

So then she dwelled on it for a week, invited me to her family reunion so i could meet everyone, and she could break up with me in front of them, and then drive me home crying. (she was, not me)

Then i saw her two years later, with 2 kids and a babys daddy who was too busy getting high to feed his kids. I WIN!!!!
This is justice !!
