The hammer I use for work... It's a estwing framing Hammer its the length of 1 1/2 regular hammers and the hammer head is mega beastly I can easily nail through steel straps with this mutha and its light and agile (for me) and never runs out of ammo, got the blunt side to decimate zombie skulls and the hook side for... well same as before, plus I got a nifty nail bag with hammer holder so it will always be close at hand :)

in terms of guns, the biggest one? i really have no idea, were not as gung ho here in england (i think thats how you spell it :p)

in terms of melee weapons, then i would take a crow bar, for practicality, endurance and the sheer impact it would have on a human skull.

The Focus Rifle from Halo: Reach, so long as I get infinite charge on it. It's continuous beam of death AND a sniper rifle.

If not that, then I'll go with an HMWA-X(10) upgraded with frictionless materiel X, kinetic coil X, and shredder ammo XII (because there was no 10, at-least not without mods) from Mass effect 1. That thing was awesome, it never overheated, was always on target, and everything that got in my way died before they could say "BOO"! Good times.

Crossbow and bolts. Silent, deadly and the bolts have a chance of being re-used. Plus it'd be easier to improvise bolts for it then to look for more bullets or shells for a gun.

Hmmmmmmm...

For effectiveness, I'd have to go with the FAL Carbine.

For style, I'd go with a Tommy Gun, since the old-fashioned revolvers look ridiculous when used against zombies.

For melee, I'd stick with a good Viking war sword. Well-weighted, just the right side, they used them for a reason.

For distance, I'd bring a .50 caliber machine gun, modified with a slightly longer barrel and a semi-automatic fire option (They did use them in Vietnam) with an adjustable scope up to 8X. The reverberation in cities would be loud enough to make it difficult to tell where the sound is coming from, and at long ranges the shot would hit before the sound from the shot.

I'd go with the Pandora from Devil mar cry 4, its a suitcase that turns into all the weapons you'd ever need. and you never run out of ammo. I love having a little versatility when it comes to destruction.

I'll take the Gordon Freeman approach and use a crowbar. It's dense enough to bash an undead motherfuckers skull in, and as a tool it can get into locked buildings that can be set up as strongholds against zombies. I still hold that a hardware store is a more valuable source for anti-zombie equipment than a gun store.

Crossbow, its quiet to shoot. It has reusable ammunition if you have to do so. Rate of fire might be fairly low but the amount of damage it can do will be good. You could always shot building rebar from it if needed to ala, Half-Life 2's cross bow.

A rifle. Bolt-action or semi-auto, as long as it has a detachable scope, 'cause my bro and I will be a duo-team and he'll hav a close range weapon most likely.

I would take a battle axe with a chain attached to the handle then the other end of the chain would split into two smaller chains each of wich would be attached to one of my nipples by piercings.
