this leads to amusing conversations on online games. I was playing halo 3 at a friends and was running to wherever I needed to be and I didn't walk throught someone on my team. Needless to say I started shooting him and killed him.

I also have the habit of 'spy-checking' my teammates, even on games where spies are unheard of. Its great, that; a sort of conditioning that causes us to act like that, even in a totally different gameplay area. Interesting stuff for psychologists.

I've spent so much time playing Bioware games that when I went to church with my mom for Mother's Day and she explained that one of the reasons they sing so many hymns in the beginning is to give everyone time to get in an find a seat before the sermon, (the church is a megachurch, so it takes a looooong time to get everyone seated) I turned to her and said, "Oh, so the singing is really a cut scene inserted to conceal a background load."
