I used to be like "rap and hip-hop music is soooooo bad and stuff." And then this ************...
Obviously like every other human on earth, I found him through the Pale Kid video. Not only is he skilled, but he actually knows how to write a song, and (perhaps most importantly) he doesn't do that shitty "rapper voice" that's so common within the genre.

Huh, so it is. Last time I pay attention to Youtube comments, that's for sure.
I cannot recommend the "Herp derp" plugin highly enough.

(and yes, I know full well that it's just Skrillex with some Chaos Marine lines, but the whole 'using it to assault people' makes it work. Somehow).
Going to be "that guy" and point out that it's Flux Pavilion, not Skrillex.

OT: My ultimate guilty pleasure:

I can't explain it, I just love this song and no others like it.
Bonny Tyler is never a guilty pleasure.

OT: I have a confession to make. I...don't think Nickleback is all that bad. They're mediocre, and Chad Kroger is a douchenozzle, but they don't deserve anywhere near the rabid hatred they get, and are far from the worst rock band out there. Matter of fact, a lot of the bands that garner a lot of hate from the circle-jerking echo chamber that is the internet aren't all that bad in my opinion.

Jesus, who slipped LSD into Katy Perry's milkshake?
In all seriousness, thank you, shrekfan246. This is the most delightfully nonsensical video I've ever seen, and I've seen Youtube Poops.
Seamlessly moving back on topic, Youtube Poops suck. Unless they're made by Dathings1.
While most Youtube Poops find lowbrow humor in making innocent characters potty-mouthed sex fiends, this guy's made it his mission to be the best clean YTPer on YouTube. Even if anyone else had that title sans superlative, DaThings has easily met this goal and surpassed it.
Take this video. It's PG-13 at worst, and it doesn't even have pop-culture references, but will still leave you paralyzled with laughter.

This is the only dubstep song I've really listened to and enjoyed... The best bit starts at 0:34.

Everyone's talking about music but I'm reminded of something completely different.

Garlic sauce.

For some reason I cannot remember I always found it absolutely revolting. I wouldn't even come near of anything with garlic sauce.

And then I actually tasted it.

Mother of good what is this holy goodness.

Runner-ups would be:
- Cherries. Why did I ever dislike them?!
- Beer. Well, special kinds like La Trappe, Chimay Blueu, Rochefort and Ebulum ale. For some reason I went from hating to loving quickly.
- Alcohol in general. It all started with Bailey's...
- Coffee. Same story. Had a mochachino one day and the rest is history.
- Digital game purchasing. The hate was gone when Steam let me buy a game with a 90% discount.

I used to hate country music, but I realized that I only disliked the BS that they put on the radio.
Oh, yeah, this. I could never stand what I thought country music was. And, mostly, still can't. But then I watched 'Edge of Darkness' and heard Willie Nelson singing Time of the Preacher.

[sub]I may like Digimon[/sub]
Well, not all Digimon, but only one season
3rd one to be more precise
But I'm not even touching other seasons with 50m pole while wearing armored hazmat suit.

I used to think all that silly screaming in metal was silly
then suddenly Mastodon.
(I heard it in NFS: Most Wanted, so yay for casul)

I also used to think that "softie" metal was lame
then suddenly Mastodon.
(I heard it in Saints Row 2, so yay for double casul and for every SR game having a song from Mastodon on the radio)

The problem has been and always will be that, when it comes to music, the genres which you don't often listen to end up only reaching you through the more mainstream artists. And in case anyone hadn't noticed, the mainstream is more of a shitcreek.

So instead of listening to PrettyLights, you hear Skrillex.
Instead of Kendrick Lamar, you get lil'Wayne.

And the difference in quality is substantial.

If you haven't found an artist who sways your opinion of a particular genre, then you probably haven't looked very hard.

It's not like I left that possiblity

Doesn't matter if it's the only exception to that genre/group.
I mean... I hate the "lyrics" of most dubsteps, and the beat isn't something I'd enjoy, but Bonfire really went against what I hate.(Well, mostly. I still hate the half stoned guy between the "chorus" or whatever the heck is the dubstep equivalent.) I guess it's because Pendulum is somehow involved in Knife Party.

I don't generally like anything rap/ hip-hop, but Anarchy Reigns showed me that it may not be all bad.
Since this is now, like, my favourite video game track of 2013.
Still don't go looking for rappity hippity hoppity music though, especially since I'm not sure Anarchy Reigns' soundtrack even falls into the genre.

I used to always hate bros. Personally I felt I had a very good reason for this too, I was bullied quite a bit all throughout school by jocks and bros. Whenever I met anyone who might have even seemed like he could have been broish I just ended all communication and walked away. Even just looking like a bro was enough to earn my dislike. However, quite recently I was forced into a situation in which I had to be polite and talk to a bro, a friend of a very close friend. At first I did by best to just make polite small talk but I quickly found out that although he was as bro as they come he also read fantasy novels, in fact many of the same ones that I read all the time. I felt like I had been in a dark room for too long and someone had turned on the light. He taught me that I can't just shut out someone because they reminded me of the people who tormented me when I was younger. I still don't always feel comfortable around bros, and I will still just walk away if a bro is making me feel bad but now I am willing to give them a chance. I thought I was the kind of person who would never judge a book by its cover; boy was I wrong about that.

Remixes!

Yes, ohh dear god yes. There was a time when this young Zigzagoon absolutely loathed remixes. But the reasoning behind that hatred was because most of what I heard was a shitty remix of popular pop songs around that time, and most of it came from my classmates, who I didn't like but only hanged around with because I was a lonely little Zigzagoon.

But then! In the "ohh so meh" year of 2008, something marvelous happend! I discovered OCRemix! Just imagine it! Both good and incredible remixes of wonderful gaming music. It truly were the greatest time for my ear.

Example!

Mega Man X 7 - Our Blood Boils.

And the remix!

Maverick Rising 4-12 'First Form Slayer'

So good!
