I thought he was okay a few years ago. Then I saw he's still doing the exact same jokes these days. Not funny.

A lot of his main stuff I don't really like. It's generally a bit boring and unfunny, the achmed the dead terrorist is trying at shock commedy value but even the other ones I don't really like.. just not the sort of commedy i like. I did watch one where he spent a while just talking like a regular commedian before doing his puppets, and I liked that.

Huh... and here I always thought he was just a comedian from X years ago who I just happened to stumble across. (I've only seen Spark of Insanity and that's really all I need) IS he funny? I dunno, I've never seen "funny" used as an absolute, so I assume every person is going to respond differently. Do I find him funny? Yes, yes I do. It's not head-scratching humor, it's "You have 20 seconds, do or say something that will amuse me" funny and then he gets put away until the next time I feel particularly pissy.

I think the real question here, which everyone is missing entirely, is which is better:
Peanut Butter and Jam -or- Peanut Butter and Jelly

I think he's funny, highly talented and I find it amusing ... and he doesn't laugh at his own jokes he laughs at his own fuck ups ... he screws up and then laughs about it and I think it makes it funnier ... I have a lot of respect for him for being able to go up there and throw his voice like that, even use up to three different voices at the same time and his jokes are good ... they suit the characters and give them personality ... anyone who says they don't like him I personally think you should get up on stage in front of 700+ people and see if you can laugh off your own fuck up when you can't remember your seventeenth line of the night because you have sets of eyeballs staring at you and your puppet! I'm sorry if anyone finds this post offensive but it's how I feel ... stop ripping into a man when you yourself wouldn't have to courage to even get up on that stage.

His stand-up specials with his puppets were actually rather entertaining.
His show, though, dear God.
"LOOK AT ME I CAN BE HILARIOUSLY RACIST AND MAKE DICK JOKES."
Not even good off-key jokes, it's like he's fallen into a rut of saying '*****' every two minutes and, for some reason, believes it's funny.
I had the same reaction to Larry the Cable Guy.

he sucks major eggs, and I hate eggs. There's nothing he can uniquly deliver, any of us could make up a joke at at least Dunhams standards in 20 minuets or less.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life involved Jeff Dunham. I wanted to prove a point that American and British sense of humour is quite different on some occasions, so I rounded up all the people in my flat (I'm British by the way), sat them in my room and played Achmed the Dead Terrorist.

It was the funniest ten minutes of my life, everyone in the room just kept on giving the computer screen blank stares, then looking at each other, then back at the screen. They honestly could not figure out if it was meant to be funny or not - not a smile was cracked throughout the entire procedings. The silence was so bemued ans awkward I almost had tears rolling down my face. Just thinking about it now makes me giggle.

...really wished I had filmed it now.

He's funny for awhile, but he's turned into a catch phrase machine that doesn't write new material.

I like his old man puppet act.

I don't even grin at any of the other ones.
This, and the stand up he does before his act is way better than the rest of his show. I just don't find the puppets they were funny the first time around but most of his act feels recycled.
