I don't think they will give her another show for herself, but they are for sure going to include her in others. Probably in Daredevil. She will at least get a nod. Probably in a Luke Cage show as well.
Nah, Jessica Jones is receiving enough critical praise and viewership
(especially for an almost completely unheard of property) that she'll almost certainly get a season 2. I just wouldn't expect it anytime soon as Marvel will probably want to get the Cage and Iron Fist seasons out plus Daredevil season 2 before they even begin to get working on it.
It has been heavily hinted at however that she'll likely have some presence in Daredevil's season 2 and without doubt Luke Cage's series, so even before her own season 2 we'll still be seeing more of Jessica Jones.
Incidentally I quite like that Jessica isn't invincible. Daredevil got beat up a lot and nearly killed at another point, but he nevertheless was practically invulnerable against any sort of 'regular' enemy. By contrast Jessica is a hell of a lot stronger than Daredevil but has no real fight training to speak of and basically tends to just throw people around a lot as a result, so even 'regular folk' if there's enough of them or catch her by surprise can take her down. I thought that was neat.
I just feel like we have already seen her biggest struggle, and that if she were to get another season, she would split screentime with other heroes that she will be working with, like Daredevil. Obviously, the next season will be her trying out being a hero, and doubting herself and stuff. Actually, they could turn it interesting because they aren't afraid of showing her kill people. Maybe have her use too much force and kill someone, like a bank robber and be utterly devastated. They should definitely stick to her being fairly weak and flawed (compared to other superheroes). Oooo, ooo, and they could also bring in Trish as whatever her persona will be. Simpson will be the villain, because of what they were uncovering during the final few episodes.
It was good they didn't make her invincible. But like, if you have the strength she does, there needs to be some consistency. She would have no problem with any normal person, even with no training.
