Say what you want about eco-activists being stupid and discreditable,

But it still doesn't change the fact that climate change is REAL and HAPPENING and thus shouldn't be ignored.

It's been said before and it will doubtlessly be said again; environmental activists have done more damage to the eco-friendly movement than anyone else could ever do.

Haven't the protestors just gone and fertilised his garden....? And I hate retards like those, they can't lighten up.
Horse manure is too caustic solid and constrained for most vegetation to grow in.
How do you know so much about horse manure?

I don't get why people are so angry at Clarkson.

He's funny in a politically-slapstick manner.

People who ACTUALLY TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY are some of the saddest, most stand-offish people I can imagine. He's joking, he's deliberatly being outrageous!

Nonsense,

He takes it all with good humour (or has done, I don't know how he'd react to THIS) but the people who do it? Sad, humourless, aggressive political Trolls

Poor ol' Jezza. He's just a guy. It's not like he's singlehandedly removing the ozone layer or anything. Those kind of people do themselves no favours with tactics like that, they just discourage people from taking them seriously.

Reckon Jezza should go and coil one out on their lawn, just for teh lulz.
You're right, he's just one guy. He gets a lot of flak when clearly it's both scripted and presented light-heartedly.

And the post about him making TV for closet racists, how does he exactly? Sorry, I read it and now I can't find it, I've just been through twice. If anything he's one of the only decent things on TV.
For sure. :)

Was this the post you meant?

Clarkson really is a detestable person, making TV for for closit racists and chauvinists.

I thought this incident was quite funny.
Not really sure where the evidence for this statement comes from. As far as I can see he makes TV for people who want something entertaining with blokes goofing around in expensive vehicles, without having to think too much. Which just happens to be pure awesome. :D
That's the one! Must of slipped through my hawk eye vision...

Like you said, I don't know any evidence for it. Top Gear (and all his programs) are just about boys and their toys.

EDIT: God that last line sounded a bit off. I meant toys as in cars and that, not dicks.

And that makes him a terrible person? That just makes him insensitive and callous, not a terrible person.

Personally I think these people are like the people who threw rocks on the rally track in Australia that went through a national park, they need to realise that there's a difference between disagreeing with someone and arguing with them to show it and breaking their nose to show it (except putting boulders on a rally stage endangers lives, whereas a pile of crap on your front garden is just an inconvenience). They give the eco-friendly movement a bad name and make all the other protesters have less credibility.

@RAKTheUndead: I hereby support your argument. It is well-thought out, logical and seems to mesh with what my own research in the subject has been.

good point but if we don't have shock tactics then we wont get media coverage any publicity is good publicity after all, the movement needs to be noted, would ghandi be a household name if he hadn't posed the peace protests?

You guys might want to explain who this guy is, and why people have dumped shit on his lawn.

Y'know, for us folks across the pond.
I've talked to quite a few folks across the pond and they say they love Top Gear, which is surprising.

And while I admire the fact that he speaks his mind pretty much all the time, I think Clarkson is a bit of an ass at times, like when he called Gordon Brown a "one-eyed Scottish idiot" amongst other things, but this is just pathetic, those people should be shamed in the worst way possible. Doughnuts on their front garden perhaps?

Just to add, I also thought it was pretty impressive that he had no comment to make. Which sort of showed them up - mind you there'll be something about it on Top Gear, but for now he's said nothing at least. For now.
Stop the presses. No comment to make? He must be prepping something then.

1) Why are they dressing up as campaigners for women's rights when they want to 'talk' about the environment?
Maybe it's something to do with the personification of the environment as Mother Nature, so the Eco-Suffragettes are giving that woman a voice and fighting for her rights.

Anyway, they sure learned him, learned him good.... dumping a load of natural fertilizer on his garden. "Take that Clarkson, we'll help your garden grow!".

I heard next week they're going to attack Richard Hammond by watering his hanging baskets and pruning his roses.

Would he still be as respected if he had staged a bloody coup to win freedom for his people? That's a completely different situation, ghandi didn't actually put anybody in danger aside from himself and his followers.

The real question is how could I afford not to know so much about horse apples?

You really think they thought that much in to the outfits? I don't really get the impression that they're an overly bright bunch.

Haha, would love to see the Richard Hammond thing appear on the news though.

He has donkey's, so he obviously knows how to get rid of poop.

The people who belive in this global warming don't know all the facts, I actually find them quite funny, it's like Nikki grahame talking about ... well anything. (she thought David Blunkett isn't blind and Steven hawking doesn't need a wheel chair)

Since "Global Warming" has taken an unprecedented hiatus over the last decade or so, I can see why the "climate fanatics" have taken to idiotic displays like dumping manure to get their point across.

No, the real question is most definitely how you know so much?

...hmm...

i have just learned that one of my cousins was actually involved in this. i would normally take this as a load of rubbish, since it was apparently posted on their facebook page, but i fully believe them in this case. my cousin has done this sort of thing quite a lot in the past, and keeps getting arrested.

it kind of alters my perspective of the situation. i'm not close with my cousin at all, but it is harder to take up a definite stance on the situation knowing this.
