It's just mainly phobia stuff. Like, I have extreme trypanophobia, and even though I wouldn't be using anything on myself, I'd still get really sick and afraid of anything I'd have to use for any of the animals. It just wouldn't work out, and obviously end up being a huge waste of money and schooling if I tried.
Hmm, that would be a problem. Bt if a fear is what is holding you back then you might just have to be prepared to walk into the gates of hell and get over that fear. I'm not sure how severe your fear is but you could likely overcome it. I just say this because it would be a shame to see somebody not realize the job they want just because they were afraid.

Not that I want to run it in but... it's brilliant! It's really hard work, not like doctors who only learn about one species we have to learn about every species, but it'll pay off in the end. I love working with animals and can't really see myself doing anything else, wanted to be a vet since I was about 7.
A word of encouragement: If you have the grades (and the money), you could always do a vet degree in the UK with no need to do the previous degree needed in the states. And as all UK vet schools are AVMA acredited you'll only need to sit the NAVLE to practice in the state of your choice.
Thats really cool, good to hear that your enjoying it. What kind of practice do you want to eventually start? Large animal, small animal, Equine etc.
Hmm, my family does have quite the amount of money, I'll just see if a degree over there is valid over here. Because I know my personal trainer is a massage therapist and her training over in the UK wasn't good enough here, so she has to learn it
again here. Even though she is fully certified over the pond.
