Well he's certainly seen both sides of the Success/Fail spectrum.

His level design in Doom (and Quake 1 Ep1) was incredibly thematic well-paced and memorable.
His level design in Daikatana is just about the worst there ever was.

DIEHARD JA fan here! Loved the first 2, nearly cried when I couldn't get it to work on my "new" computer, about 5 years ago =(
Good Old Games sells some Jagged Alliance titles on their site - I know all their games work with Windows XP (and quite a few are fine with Windows 7). Haven't tried these particular games, but everything else I've gotten from them has been great.

I dug me some Jagged Alliance back in the day. And for those who couldn't make it run on their computers five years ago...

As for Romero, I've long ago forgiven him for the *****-making thing, and the greater sin of contributing to the downfall of Looking Glass Studios, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to zing him for it now and then. I'm sure he can handle it.
Thanks for the heads up guys! I'll be sure to check that out, hope they work...if they do I'll get every expansion as well. Spent an hour or two last week getting a Glide wrapper for NFS2 Special edition. Anyone else remember those voodoo cards, and how awesome 3Dfx was? =P
