"Sure thing" Said Hazel. "I wonder if his Majesty, King Arkul will be coming with us in the morning? Would be nice to have some cover against any more fish monsters or water demons attacking us."

She laid out her roll mat on the least uncomfortable looking outcrop of rock, scratched a zigzag line around her sleeping place with her knife and bedded down for the night. After the action of the day she quickly fell asleep, however anyone who stepped into the carved circle noticed her eyes instantly snap open.

Mick lays down a mat, but he cant sleep, he keeps searching around the cavern with his eyes flinching at any noise

Garion took his sword off of his belt and leaned up against the wall with his sword propped against his shoulder one hand on the hilt. Then fell into a light sleep.

The next morning, the team plus the king entered a dark tunnel leading deeper into the underground city. "The tablet is this way" Johnny said. "Let's go!" The team made their way down the tunnel and ran into more of the fish demons. "Drive them back!" Johnny yelled. "Destroying the tablet is our only way to get home!" Johnny fired his pistol, killing a fish demon, then grabbed his machete and with gun and blade in hand, charged at the monsters.

Mick was tired seen as he got no sleep last night.

Tad swiftly draws his Tommy gun and starts shooting while aiming for the head.

Garion pulled out one of his guns and drew his sword. Firing every time he had a clear shot at the head of the fish demons and hacking at the ones that got close.

"More fish demons" said Hazel with a tone of resignation. "I've not picked all of the scales from yesterday out of my boots yet".

She let the more experienced soldiers do most of the fighting, content to conserve bullets and walk a few paces behind them. However, she was careful to pick off any demon that got close to the King. He might be their only chance at escaping this place and she envisioned an interesting opportunity to talk with him about his powers if he survived for long enough.

"I guess guns aren't gonna cut it with these guys." Aran said as he pulled out his katana and sliced a scaley in half.

"Lets see who can get the most kills, shall we? A challenge, if you will."

Johnny had run out of pistol ammo and hadn't had time to reload yet. Drawing his machete, he slashed one monster across the face and chopped down onto its head, killing it. Stabbing and slashing, he made his way into a corner and knelt down. "Cover me" he yelled, as he started to reload his pistol.
