Seth grinned at Raven as her eyesight returned, noting that both Fei and Drew, as well as those who were in that circle were still in combat.

"The fighting is over only if you want it to be. For example, that ring over there is enjoying itself yet, and we could always join them." Seth said, noting that Marcus was still over watching the duel as it took place among the few students still fighting.

"Or, you can collapse in your partners arms and profess your love for them too!" Seth said, his gaze sweeping over where Nydia was now holding the increasingly dizzy and lost Cale. While the ship sounded like fun to go and see to Seth, this fight was still going on right now, and he was much more interested in that.

"So, you can either go look at our interesting guests, or join me in glorious combat!" Seth said, stepping closer to the fight that was still brewing. He could assist Fei and Drew out of their mess, or just cause his own. Ignoring the wounds at his side, along his head and a few other cuts from the stones before, he confidently stepped forward, flames dancing around him.

Meanwhile, the many ships began landing about the large area that had been prepared for them to land at. The many smaller ones landed first, seeming completely confident that they had left enough room. As they landed, armored figures jumped from the ships. They all held strange weapons, some looking remotely like crossbows, the others looking like something else altogether. Otherwise, they were all well armored, watching what was around their ship.

Finally, the large ship slowly began to go downward, finally settling into the large area between all the other ships. The propellers were still spinning, slowing down after the long flight, and then ropes were tossed over the edges, and down came many more guards to watch over the ship, all with stranger armor, and even more weapons. The many students had gathered around, being wary about the armed people, but looking over the sheer size of the ship, and the many people it seemed to carry.

Aaron, in the meantime, had begun walking out of the Academy to go meet up with the Airships which were arriving.

"Are you serious?" He asked himself
Being as fast as he was the crowed in front was already thick. In the back many were pushing and shoving to get a look while the ones in front stayed their distance with all the people in the metal suits setting a perimeter around the ship. All he could see was a glimpse of their helms, black as obsidian in the shadows.
I ran all the way to see a bunch of fancy hats? If only I was a few feet ta-that's it!
Not the smartest thing to do around twitchy, suspicious guards he made a little circle in the dirt with his finger and stood on it. With a bit of effort he shot himself up a meter above the crowed.
That was a bit more then I wanted...
With the new view he notice the extra soldiers- [if they didn't have enough]
and their weapons... and they were looking at him.
..and I should get down before I get shot...
As soon as he got up he went back to ground level hiding behind a crowed just in case a master noticed.

"Oh, goodness! Cale!" Nydia exclaimed as Cale collapsed into her arms. Her first thoughts were concern that he had lost too much blood or had another wound, followed very quickly by thoughts about how large and heavy Cale was compared to herself. She did her best to hold him up but once her arms began trembling decided it would be best to slowly lower him to the ground. She had almost got him to the ground though her legs gave out suddenly and she ended up stuck under Cale's body. Though she didn't have the strength to move him, she was able to shift into a more comfortable sitting position and allowed Cale's head to rest on her lap.

He doesn't appear to be wounded. Must just be out of energy. I suppose it's no surprise. He did much more work than I did and I'm fairly exhausted as well. Unless I'm mistaken, did he say I was pretty..? At that moment, Nydia heard Seth's comment, about the two of them most likely, from across the arena and slowly felt her face grow warm. It would seem I'm not mistaken... I wonder how much of that was his exhaustion talking?

The time to wonder about that would have to come later though, as Nydia noticed the duels continuing in the arena they were still in. "Um... Cale? I don't think this is the best place for a nap."

The dual wielder managed to put out the flames, but the burns were bad enough that his partner collapsed. AS the Caster tried to get more water, Drew ran up and blasted him with a gust of wind, sending him on his back near Fei. "Get him! Hit him, use water, just take him out so we can be done with this!"

"Sorry...about that..." Cale opened his eyes to reveal that he was sitting on Nydia's lap. Cale's face also began to flush seeing that he was in such an awkward position. Cale hurriedly lifted his head and got himself up while trying not to look at Nydia's face for fear of making this already peculiar situation even more awkward. Cale pushed himself up but being worn out it took a few tries. When he finally got up Cale reached out for Nydia and offered his hand in helping her up.

"I am... very sorry about what had just happened. I should have told you that I tend to faint ,if you will, if I ever wear myself out. I humbly appologize.." Cale said keeping his eyes to the ground.

Nydia quickly took Cale's hand and pulled herself up. "No no, there's no need to apologize Cale. This only happened because you fought so hard, and without that effort we would not have done as well as we did I'm sure. Besides, if I had been stronger perhaps this situation could have been prevented. It's quite admirable really. The way you put everything you have towards a task. Just... Try not to overdo it." Nydia said, trying to look Cale in the eye despite his efforts to avoid eye contact. Since Cale seemed to be rather embarrassed by the whole situation, Nydia decided it would be best to drop the subject though.

Nydia kept an eye on the duels still raging not too far from them, on the lookout for any stray spells that might head their way. "Perhaps we should get you to the infirmary? Some rest would do you good right now, I imagine and the beds there are fairly comfortable."

Nydia's articulate way of speaking finally cracked a grin on Cale's face. Cale had to hand it to Nydia, she had a way with words and she knew exactly how to use them at least that was what Cale was able to get. Cale nodded to Nydia then turned towards the exit.

"Maybe that's a good idea, Nydia. I just wished that we could have met in better circumstances though or at least some places nicer!" Cale joked but he really did wished he could have met Nydia under better circumstances because she seemed rather nice in general.

Nydia responded to Cale's grin with a bright smile of her own and followed him to the exit. She was exhausted from the last fight as well, and sticking around for another one didn't seem like a good idea. "Well, if you truly feel that way then perhaps I could accompany you to the infirmary? It would be most unfortunate if you collapsed again along the way. Otherwise, I'm sure we'll meet again if we truly wish it. I imagine we'll be on this island for the rest of our lives after all." Nydia replied, trying to allow him a way out if he was truly joking and not be a nuisance to him.

Goodness, I wonder what's come over me? I'm unusually social these past few days. But then, Father always did say that was my reclusive nature was my greatest flaw...

"That would be nice Nydia... thank you once again..." Cale said as he walked back to the infirmary with Nydia's help. "Although I might have to disagree with you on about the being on this island. I have a feeling Nydia, a feeling that things will change pretty quickly once our visitors arrive. Gossip has it that they will be choosing mages like us to go to Kerbones. I know it's far-fetched or even crazy to look forward too but to me, it is all looking forward too." Cale said. Then he noticed that he was beginning to ramble on about Kerbones again.

"Sorry Nydia, I must come off as crazy sometimes... it seems that I fret about certain things like this and I must assure you that all of this isn't normal for me either. For the most part..." Cale looked to Nydia as he said the last part wondering what she would have to say about the matter or him in general. Cale wouldn't be surprised if Nydia would just walk away right now.

Nydia paused a moment to consider what Cale had said. That rumor sounded familiar for some reason. But where had she heard it...? Then she remembered. "Ah, yes I recall Masters Marcus and Darnell hinting that some of us might be going to Kerbones. So you want to go I take it? I would hardly call that crazy. I find myself wanting to go as well. Having been born on this island, I only know of the outside world what I've read in books. I'd like to see even just part of the world once in my life. But alas, I have duties here that I must attend to. I cannot afford to leave really." Nydia said, before realizing that she had digressed a bit.

"Ah, but I fear your feeling may not be far from the truth. This is an unprecedented event in the academy's history after all. Perhaps it will all work out for the best though and both Kerbones and the academy will benefit greatly from this exchange. I suppose we'll find out when they arrive. Oh! Which reminds me, some of their airships arrived while you were....unconcious." Nydia continued, having almost forgotten that Cale hadn't been quite awake when the airships were flying overhead.

Collapsing into partner's arms wasn't going to be on Raven's agenda anytime soon. Even if Seth pulled her out of the blind spell, he was still one of those arrogant pyro buggers. His desire for more fighting confirmed that.

However the growing throng of people at the airships that had landed made that an unappealing option as well. Crowds never agreed with Raven, too many idiots and posers clustered into one space. Besides, with ships those massive, the travelers on board would surely make their presence known to the congregation in due time. So the better option would be to stick with the displeasure she already knew.

"Fine. I'm coming with you," she told Seth. Rather deal with a handful of cocky bastards than a shit-ton. She followed after the Pyro, towards the other fights.

As Seth was stepping towards the fight, he suddenly noted Marcus walking down from his higher area. Seth paused, the flames about him dying out as he noted the Pyromancer seemed to mean business as he stepped towards the fights himself.

"Seth, I am surprised you did not run to see the others. You are not usually one for fighting." Marcus muttered, approaching Seth and intercepting him from getting closer to the fights.

"The crowds would make it uncomfortable for my companion I believe, so I figured I might as well pass the time in the combat still raging. Unless you plan something?" Seth asked, glancing back at Raven who had been coming along.

"I need you to go over to the Library. If the flames were any indicator, or the report I hear from some students, a good Pyromancer found someone who shouldn't be there, and I want you to go and see what it was all about." Marcus said, glancing at the Nightshade while he gave the order.

"Of course, Master Marcus." Seth said, turning to Raven. "Hey, up for a little bit of something other than fighting? You don't quite strike me as the war type anyways. Or the people type." Seth said casually, heading for the exit.

Should I get patched up first? These cuts and the like might not be too appealing.....nah, not like I am heading to the airships or anything like that yet. They should be there when the crowds finally get back to work.

As the engines finally began to go silent, a ramp finally lowered itself from the larger of the airships. What came out first made the closest students make sure they would keep their distance. It was simply two men, but they appeared to have more blades, weapons, and gear on themselves than what was likely humanly possible to use as they wished. Blades on their backs, what appeared to be arrows along their arms, more blades at their sides, and mechanical armor that made it seem as if it moved them and not the other way around. As the two heavily armored and heavily armed guards stepped forward, then came out the man who was probably in charge of the operation. He wore what could best be described as a suit, complete with black pants, overshirt, and tie. He also wore a large black trenchcoat, and also seemed to sport some of the similar armor pieces on his shoulders and legs. Stepping down the ramp, he looked over at the many students, taking in the odd welcome he was apparently not used to as they all stood about, muttering or gawking all at once. A path cleared in front of the man and his men as two more stepped out of the large airship behind him. Both as heavily armed as the last.

As the small heavily armed group began walking towards the group of Masters who were now walking up to meet them, it appeared that a few other people had come along for the airship ride. These people, while some of them were dressed rather oddly with cloaks, or suits, or some even having open mechanical parts, seemed to be much more unfamiliar with all the people who were not looking at them. The group of ten people stepped down the ramp as well, and began to try speaking with some of the people in the crowd, which was downright odd for some students who turned away from the strangers, while others attempted to engage in conversation...or at least try to, as some of the people seemed to have a very thick accent to their speech.

"Did you just say that more airships arrived?" Cale's face beamed and a new-found energy pulsed through him. Thoughts about the visitors rushed to his head pushing back Nydia's idea of going to the infirmary, there would be more time for that. Cale noticed Nydia' reaction to the fact that she saw Cale beaming with energy from the fight and took her hand.

"Come on! Let's see the airships!" Cale said as he sped towards the airships with Nydia in hand. "I'm sorry but I think everybody should see the airships and that means you too!" The crowds began to clog the halls the closer it got to the landing pads. But soon the throngs of people began to scatter as the visitors began actually speaking to some of the people in the crowds. The visitors were really talking to them! They looked as exotic as the original people landing. Their clothes varied from flamboyant robes painted in colors not normally seen to people mixed with machinery. It mystified Cale and downright entranced him in this daze of beauty. For the first time in Cale's life Cale was seeing things people have only talked about.

"By the gods... look at all this people..."

"W-what? AH! Cale?!" Nydia barely had time to prepare herself before being dragged off at high speed towards the landing zone. Goodness, he is strong. And fast. I would never be able to keep up with him if he weren't bringing me along.

When they finally arrived Nydia had to stop and catch her breath, stamina not really being her strong suit. It was well worth the run though. Before Nydia, were things that she had only read about previously, maybe seen a drawing or two of if she were lucky. Between that and the look of mystified awe on Cale's face, Nydia couldn't help but smile. "Well... I'm certainly glad I didn't miss out on this. Thank you for bringing me Cale! I must admit, this isn't quite what I had pictured, especially the way Darnell made it sound like we'd be killed if we got near them. I'm glad that's not the case though."

As she watched the visitors mingle with her fellow students, Nydia got the sense that the visitors were just as curious and mystified of the mages as the mages were of them. "Say, would you like to go try and speak with them? Who knows when we'll get another opportunity like this."

"O-oh, but- me talk to them?" Cale said tripping over his own words at the thought of conversing with that of the visitors. "W-why would... would they wanna converse with someone like me? I-I'm just a lowly mage... surely they would want to converse with-with an adept or the masters..." Cale's nervousness took the better of him and not to mention his lack of motivation due to his lowly feelings for himself.

"I think I'm better off admiring them from a distance..."

Nydia cocked her head slightly and giggled at Cale's sudden nervousness. "So you'll charge into a battle with several mages without any fear or hesitation, but conversing with our guests bothers you so?" Nydia said jokingly. Truth be told, she shared his feelings but if she let it show they would just stand around watching all day. Her desire to learn more about their guests far outweighed any reservations she had in this case.

"Come now, they won't know your rank or even what our ranks mean. If you think about it, we can do things that they can probably only dream of. Who wouldn't want to talk to someone like that?"

Alexander couldn't help but feel as if he almost wasn't supposed to be here as the Masters and these newcomers met. They were heavily armed and he couldn't help but feel as if they might decide one of them was a threat and start killing. He knew it probably wouldn't happen but he still couldn't keep the twinge of fear down.

Please let this all go well. I have to wonder what will happen though.

Fei nodded, gathering the water around her arm and swirling it fast, the water turning white with the bubbles and foam. Her other hand closed around a pendant under her robes as she concentrated on the mage. Concentrate... "Water Cannon!~" It was one of the only offensive moves she knew, so she practiced it often enough. Still, practicing on dummies and in the air was nothing compared to shooting out a jet of water no wider than her finger, and having it slice through a live mage. The dual wielder had a small hole through his chest, not extending all the way through, but enough to get a good amount of blood flowing. The mage was carted off, leaving... no one? "Drew...? Where's... the last one?" she was worn out by the exertion it took to make a water jet, hoping that the last mage was either already out, or weak enough for Drew to handle.

"Relax... that was it. We're done." he said, smiling. "Good job. You were great back there. We showed them, didn't we?" he said, noticing all the people left were leaving. "Well... seems we're done here. Want to go see what all the commotion is about?" He started walking to the exit, still rubbing his injured arm.

"M-maybe we should go to a healing station first..." she mumbled, some sense of pride welling up in her. We did it! That was so cool! A grin slowly appeared on her face as she stuck another lollipop in her mouth, not minding that it was a little singed.
