I agree though, he was pretty cool.

OT: I don't really hate very many JRPG characters. I used to really hate Rikku from FFX and FFX-2, but thinking about it now, she really wasn't too bad. Although she's still my least favorite character in FFX.

I could not agree more,while we're at it get rid of Salsa as well, March can stay as she doesn't say much.

Meracle from Star Ocean 4,I can deal with Lymle and her 'Kay tic but this Meracle VA was atrocious and she was too hyper active for my taste.


I wouldn't want to get rid of Yukari from P3 as much as just deck her for the idiocy she pulls in The Answer,Mitsuru also deserves a slap for going along with her. Also you need to be "popular" to date Yukari and that always rubbed me the wrong way. Plus she takes away from the one true pairing with Fuuka

Dalton from Chrono Trigger. I could not stand anything about him, his name, how he looked, every text block of his that would pop up...I just wanted Crono to go up and brain him.

OT: Yay another round of JRPG hate threads but the only character I would get rid of is Hope and Vaan. Vaan because he was added in unnecessarily and Hope because his sub plot takes too long.

It takes a lot for a JRPG character to bug me but the one I remember worse that I wanted to see explode into a million pieces was, Lymle from Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Her annoying voice and the same battle victory saying over and over again was like Chinese torture.

EDIT: Oh my christ I forgot about Mute from Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel. WTF was that, the dialog when they talked about her was at times absolutely hilarious but her/his/it character was just oddly placed and really that whole game was a joke compared to the first two but I let it slide since it was another Ar Tonelico game regardless of how good it really was.
