Thing is, Juggernaut annoys me. But I don't care - it's in the game. Stopping Power cancels it out. So why do people *****? Because whoever is using the perk is a better player than them.

I use Martyrdom on a shotgun class, and I get called a n00b. But at the end of the day, who got the kills? Me. Who saved the HQ? Me. I used what the game gave me. I didn't hack, cheat or glitch. I used a perk properly and came out the winner. You know what that makes me? A better player.

And Betties are not noobish anyway. And I hate the term noob, it's moronic. And no weapon, perk or camping position is noob-ish. If it's in the game naturally, without glitches or cheats, then this player is using it to their advantage and winning. They are the better player for not using some code of honour and ignoring a useful perk. I never use Juggernaut and almost never use Martyrdom because of personal preference anyway.

A real player is one who uses the game to his advantage - not a guy screaming "STFU N00b! HAX!"
Totally and fully agree with you !
i really think that code of honour ruins some games (i'm looking at you MGO with your "no shotgun" and you to Gears 2 with your "no chainsaw")

What is people's problem with Juggernaut? I don't find it that useful as it, so what is the problem with it?
People hate to lose, but they hate blaming themselves for losing even more? Thats my best guess.
This.

If its in the game, therefore its legit, and if people use it as a part of a tactic, then fairplay, just makes it all the more impressive when I gun them down.

If you snipe fairly often, you'd know. Sniper bullets don't 1 shot Juggernauts like they do everyone else. So basically Juggernaut makes you immune to Sniper deaths.

Still, Martyrdom and Jammer are WAY more annoying than Juggerwhore.
I agree, Martyrdom is much more annoying than Juggernaut, but the UAV Jammer is only annoying when someone using it is camping in a corner and using a silenced weapon, also I find Last Stand more annoying than Juggernaut.

I like using Camo and dead silence/extreme conditioning and a flamethrower, so if you think juggernaught is bad, just play with me, you will hate the flamethrower much more trust me ;)

Lets look at this from a view of a sniper
"Tra la la la, oh look there is a guy lets get a kill"
sniper takes out .50 cal hold breath aim at head
BAM,,,, guy turns around and shoots you.
Respawn
Oh didnt know you could survive a .50 cal to the face but good job on that!

The op needs to suck it up and quit whining. Its all in the game to be used. If he played hardcore like a real man none of the perks are particularly powerful as most guns kill in a round or 2, even with jugger, martydom gets you kicked when you TK and bettys can be avoided if you look where you are going. If this is beyond your abilities then take bomb squad.

The only niggle is that last stand makes bolt actions need 2 shots to kill without a head shot. You know this before you pick a up bolt action so don't complain. I tend to play cod 4 as it's a better game. The best perk ever is UAV jammer. I take it with everything.

Yesterday I finally prestiged, after constant crap from friends, and a lot of guts.I sat down to try and work up the ladder to a higher level, I noticed one thing, being a prestiged person. It is very hard to get a kill when everyone in the match is using Juggernaut. I am only a level 3 first prestige person and that means no custom classes, no good weapons, and alot of outbursts of foul language. As I tried to sit and take in this epicly bad match I was in, I looked at the top player, he was using Juggernaut, Martydom, and Bouncing Betties. I was shocked at this turn of events. I, never once in my CoD WaW career ever used any of these perks. I thought them a tool for noobs to get points and level up faster, but in this game the noob was a level 65 10th Prestige. I was scared for the first time ever in a CoD match, I was out gunned, out perked and was being camped from a secret location I knew nothing about. I have no idea why I chose to wright this story on a Gaming Discussion Forum on The Escapist Mgazine, but I thought if you read this and you use those three terrifying perks, you would rethink you CoD strategies, and play like a real player. But I dought very highly that anyone will change, their way of play. On the other hand if you do, props to you man...or woman.
Whats the problem juggernaut is a bad perk it's not hard to kill someone with it but infairness in the heat of the moment I would be annoyed too but the PC has servers specially for leveling and to be fair CoD WAW isn't that good multiplayer wise.

Perks are a part of the game for a reason. Use them to your advantage.
I've never played any COD so I'm not too sure how "unfair" these things make the game, but I'm sure they're available to everyone (at least with enough work). Right?

Perks are a part of the game, all perks all the time. The only reason players ***** about juggernaut is that it stops Stopping Power from making the game just that little bit closer to hardcore mode. Of the three perks you mentioned I have to agree that juggernaut and matyrdom make very little sense but they were put in the game by a company that didn't listen to the bitching and whining from the last COD game, so they are hardly going to care now. The bouncing betties are upgrade the irritation involved with the claymore from the previous game by whole orders of magnitude, and all the developer had to do to avoid that was not give them some kind of whacky moon fuse, that allows them to proximity trigger, through walls. Instead they should have been made so you have to step on it, or that the setting player has to run a trip line.

All this said, If it is in the stock game it is a legitimate tactic. This includes the tactics that are bad sportsmanship like spawn camping. It doesn't matter how much it makes you angry one tactic is not inherently more noobish than another.

Furthermore, saying that a particular tactic is for noobs is the wrong way to look at it, a good player doesn't rely on the weapons, they use the weapons and tactics that the map and situation call for and if that is bloody minded camping then that is the developers fault. Also there are levels within every noob tactic, for instance during COD4 I built a grenadier class that allowed me to have 4 shots with an underslung grenade launcher and was often called a noob even though I could hit a sniper in the face with a grenade from half a map away.

simple solution take the words of mcpeepants to heart "CMON ***** SHOOT HIM IN THE SHOOT HIM IN THE HEAD JUMP GYPSY JUMP" these few words will get you through any cod match.

"If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen", or in other words: If you can't take that people use the options available to them in a game, stop playing the game, sissy.
