No More Heroes and Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, I lost interest in both quickly. Which is weird because I always make a habit of completing a Zelda game.

I played Dragon Age: Origins for 1 hour a few weeks ago, and haven't played it since. I know that's not really giving it a chance, but honest to god...so freaking boring.
I'll admit I had this problem too. I just couldn't get into it as I did Oblivion. I got a refund the next day.
I also had this problem with Stormrise, but that was for... other reasons.

Happened to me big time with RDR and GTA4. I think it's actually the realism that bores me. On the face of it, they're both great games - but I can't fight the feeling that I'd rather be laser gunning super mutants or fireballing orcs. Real life is fucking dull.

BioShock. After fighting the final boss a few times unsuccessfully, I haven't bothered to go back and finish it.

Not really. I get turned off games for a reason. For instance: I logged 150 hrs in FFX before I got tired of it; I started playing San Andreas while I was playing Xenogears and didn't have any interest finishing it when I beat GTA; I bought High Heat Baseball 2003 before I finished a season in Triple Play 99 and never went back... you get the picture.

Command and Conquer 3. I'm still not exactly sure why. However, about a year later I picked it up again, finished it, and found it quite enjoyable.

Yea. Oddly enough, it was towards the end of Bioshock. I loved the game, but for some reason, after I killed Andrew Ryan and got to the part where you are getting weaker as you go, I just completely lost interest. I never finished it, and I have no interest in playing the sequel.

I used to be like that with all games I played but then I promised myself I would finish every game I buy.

The last game I just stopped playing was Overlord 2.

sly cooper. after i beat the final boss i never went back to open all the safes even when i printed out the strategy guide. it's not that it was difficult it's just that i was bored as hell.

summon knight sword craft story. never beat the extra bosses after beating parista.

spyro games. when i beat all my other games and i had a few spyro games lying around. 1hr on each of them i just said fuck it. would it kill them to at least put a map or a bloody radar in game? bored as hell to.

GTA Games....i hated the concept originally but everyone said how great the games were. I gave into the hype and tried it. I couldn't stand it after 10 minutes, even after putting my own personal opinions aside and giving it the old college try

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. I think I'm about 25% into it and I just...don't want to keep going. It's not that it's particularly bad, it just doesn't endear itself to me. I'm not playing it multiplayer and that's probably the main issues, this game seems to be solely designed to be played with other people and without that, there's just nothing.
yeah that game gets very very hard without friends.

I guess this is kind of funny, but I first bought Metal Gear Solid 2 in 2008 and played until the part where you leave the tanker and I got lost and just forgot about it. Recently, I was out of PS2 games and I had Metal Gear Solid 4 but wanted to understand the story before I really got into it. So I went back and played a bit more of it and got addicted and ended up staying up all night one night to finish it. It's now one of my favorite games of all time.

Any of the Metroid Primes. I never did finish the first two, and whenever I tried to pick them up again, I just wasn't able to go on. I did beat the 3rd one, and I bet I'll have the same feeling if I ever try to play through it again.

Final Fantasy XIII. I honestly believed XII (which I started, got 30 hours into and never played again) was just an isolated incident, and that XIII would captivate me from start to finish. Turns out, not so much.

More surprisingly, Batman: Arkham Asylum. It's an amazing game, there's no denying that, but when I sat down to play through the game again on the harder difficulty setting, I found myself swiftly losing interest. I'm not entirely sure why, but I think it's because I already know how the game plays out, and much of the appeal, for me, lies in not knowing what kind of insane traps the Joker's set up for you.
i agree with FFXIII i like it and then blah

This happens a hella lot for me. One example is Far Cry 2. Everything is brown, boring, and the enemies are fucking annoying when they have nothing better to do than shoot me and only me every time I am within earshot and/or eyesight.
