Inspired by the thread about "try hards," what do you do in a game that's solely for your enjoyment?

For example, I still play Modern Warfare 2 and I run around with the Riot Shield. Yeah, I die more than I kill. Yeah, I hear people on both the other and my team talk shit to me. But you know what? It is damn fun to see someone spray me with bullets before I walk up and nudge them with a big piece of plastic. So, what do you do that doesn't achieve victory, but lets you have a good time?
I do this too, it's hilarious when someone tries to stab you, then ends up with a throwing knife in the face.
Sometimes in Search and Destroy, when the enemy team is dead save one, we just stalk him. It's brilliant, I also really enjoy melee only fighting in call of duty 3, beating up germans with your fists is the funniest thing in the world.

Going through any fps game using only melee attacks. It forces the use of stealth and tactics, which makes it more fun.

i play minecraft. honestly, remove the grind, quests and reason and just put in a sandbox, its entire enjoyment.
and i sometimes play GTA4/RDR just to have high-speed/cross-country chases.

A Hermit's Cave
In TW titles, I'll just pick ridiculous fights once I've secured my position just to see if I can get away with it. (Lossless battles are always a small challenge...)

Picking fights with random bunches of guards in AC2/B, kill them by just kicking them in the crotch repeatedly. In AC2, fighting with a broom.

In shooters, it's generally just repeating levels but killing everyone by shooting them in the crotch until they stop moving.

Hand-to-hand in Oblivion. It's tough to get started, but when you get a high skill it's much more satisfying to kill an enemy with your FISTS OF STEEL. Plus it saves you the cost and weight of weapons. (Although it does take all of the weapon variation out of the game, making combat progression somewhat more boring.)

In Dead Rising 2 me and my friend once tried to kill the "King of Cuisine" with plastic trays. It didn't go well though, I'm not even sure if they did damage, to be honest.

Now that I think of it does anyone take Dead Rising seriously? Holy shit that game is fun with a friend.

On Fallout 3 I enjoy making grand chain-reaction explosions with the various different mine types, I've Fraps'd some truly amazing explosions.

Once in the arena, I was fighting an elf when it became clear I wasn't going to win. Then it occurred to me that he was low on fatigue, and I punched him until kept falling over helpless. I won with 1 hp.

MY FISTS ARE LIKE HAMMERS!!!

Dude, there is a plot in GTA: San Andreas, but I have yet to explore it.
