Yeah, when I first started playing Fallout 3, I got stuck there and didn't know what the fuck to do.Shockolate said:INB4 Surprise Deathclaw.
For me it would have to be stumbling into the fire ant town (Name escapes me), I was like "Holy Fuck! Giant ants!" Went up to shotgun them and they fucking breath fire.
Was totally not expecting that at level 4.
That sounds.....Wow. I wish I could've seen that happen.Lord Mountbatten Reborn said:-Massive Snip-
there were some of those in the originals, ironically refered to as a mutated bramihn.Orcus_35 said:Only a single-headed Brahmin would surprise me!
early on get your luck up as high as possible then travel i think up north a bit till about the middle of the map then walk east, you have a higher chance of it happeningimahobbit4062 said:4 playthroughs and I still haven't gotten it!LavaLampBamboo said:Not really a creature, but I started a new play through and went to the Super Duper Mart for Moira. I went into a building near it then came out, and suddenly, I saw an explosion in the sky and a trail of smoke leading to the floor.
Cause I'm a Fallout 3 geek, I knew it was the awesome (and ultra rare) Firelance, and I thought that'd be brilliant to have at level 3. I went down to get it...
And then one of those goddamn raiders lasered me on fire with MY gun. BASTARD.
Can you remember exactly which way you went when it happened? I mean the precise path you took?
Yeah that was the first town I ran into, I figured I could handle it but no, I ran out of ammo, stim packs so I had to restart my game.Shockolate said:INB4 Surprise Deathclaw.

I think that it's random. There are a list of locations in the map where they can happen but basically, you have to look up every time you hear and explosion, and look for a trail of smoke. It only happens once per playthrough though...imahobbit4062 said:4 playthroughs and I still haven't gotten it!LavaLampBamboo said:Not really a creature, but I started a new play through and went to the Super Duper Mart for Moira.
