Wow, I am genuinely impressed. This is pretty cool. Kudos to the person who figured out how to actually make Justin Beiber into something you can listen to.

Whether or not this is a hoax or not is moot. Any song can sound like ambient gold with enough slowdown and manipulation via FL or Audacity or what have you.

Point remains, Bieber still has no talent, as this was not the song he intended to produce.

This chills me in so many ways. By slowing down his song drastically we create a dark and yet ambient treat for the ears. Amazing, weird as hell, but amazing.

I'm listening to it now, it's giving me goosebumps it's that good. Wow, who'da thought it of Justin Beiber to sound so amazing? Well okay, his 800x slower counterpart.

AHH!!! EARGASM!

He's secretly a genius? Or just lucky?

This is giving me chills....
I theorise that Justin Beiber is actually an amazing ambient composer, however no one would take him seriously. So in order to spread his musical message he simply sped his songs up 800% and became a pop star.
My mind can't even handle the thought... What if Justin Bieber is just using pop music to become popular and wealthy and then use what he has acquired to make his dream of composing ambient tracks come true?

The kid can't be that good. Then again, this can't be a coincidence. I'm gonna slow as many of his songs as I can find by 800% and see what happens.

Trippy.

I find it funny that Beiber's songs only get good when you've distorted them beyond all recognition, but hey.

Sounds like something that was engineered to mess with your head. And awful.
Though, that kind of "music" isn't bad per se.
It reminds me of "Spirit of the Universe" track from Matrix Revolutions.

It's...beautiful. It makes me want to do drugs just because this seems like the perfect song to listen to high, and I'm straight edge. I take back every single bad thing I have ever said about Justin Bieber. I'm 8 minutes in and still listening.

Now, I'm normally not the one to share this kind of stuff but man.. This shit is pretty amazing.
What's really amazing about it is how many people believe it's really Justin Bieber slowed down. It's obviously not (I'm an audio engineer so I'm qualified to tell you this). I got to hand it to whoever wrote the song though - riding off the back of someone else's fame sure is a clever marketing gimmick to get people to listen to your stuff. It's good to see that The Escapist a.k.a. The Great Justin Bieber Free Advertising Machine can actually be used, via threads like this, to promote other artists too.
.. Right. Well, damn. That screws my response over!

Can I has enough of Beiber on my Escapist, thanks?

I really want someone to get that track and speed it up like 800% so we can prove if it is, or isn't, actually "u smile"

Seriously why is everyone falling for this....
Because I just made my own ambient masterpiece out of a Maroon 5 song.
But the song isnt slowed down 800%, if it was it would be 25 minutes instead of 35 minutes.
Not really sure about that, but i've gone through a bunch of shitty pop songs using that Paulstretch program and I'm getting the exact same ambient sound with the percussion becoming that wave effect. Right now I'm trying Paramore's That's What You Get and got damn it it's beautiful.

Sigh life doesn't make sense anymore.
