Okay so when most people hear this name, they foam at the mouth and declare him scum, horrible person etc. Is this hate really justified? Personaly i don't think so. Anyway i was wondering if anyone would answer these questions...

The replies to this thread are.....interesting. Anyway, on topic, I dont hate him. I just think he's a talentless hack. Have you heard the ammount of autotune in his songs? It saddens me that extremly talentless people get the limelight when there are alot more talented people out there who get looked over. Hopefully his fame will die out soon, only to be replaced by the next big teen fad.

Though I don't know why you would want to write an essay on him. You can pretty much sum him up in one sentence.

I can't say I have one because I'm constantly listening to different things. I'd say my heart belongs to rock if I had to.

Uh... Canadian? 17? Started on YouTube? Think Usher signed him...

No.

I think he's just another Donny Osmond. There will ALWAYS be singers like him around because it sells well. Fuck, when I was about 10-14 I was OBSESSED with Busted/McFly (Something I've recently apologised for!) It's what little girls want, a teeny bopper pop star. He knows this and is making millions off it. More power to him!~

Don't hate him, hate his fucking fans! 'Beliebers', what a set of pathetic twats. They make me actually rage inside with their sad little ways. If anyone has Twitter, you'll know what I mean...

Hes the posterchild for crap pop music everywhere that overrides and drowns out the good stuff in the world. I work at a small supermarket and I hear this kind of music for 6-8 hour chunks almost daily and its mind-numbing.
