Four things really:
1. You queue jumped so what did you expect,
2. You were on the Isle of White so what did you expect,
3. What possible input could she have thats usefull about the riots in London and across the country.
4. She was in a queue for immigration, so the bloke who insulted her COULDN'T have been from ANYWHERE in the European Union as they wouldn't have been in that queue, so before that stupid woman starts to complain about Britain again, she should make sure it's actually an actual British man insulting her.
this man right here someone get him a cookie or if he does not like that get him a muffin.

So hang on, she's allowed to generalise and say that we're ALL racist, and that's not the same as if someone says that all black people look the same? I mean I admit that that red faced guy deserves a fork in the ear, but honestly, a few people don't represent an entire country. When those Muslims burnt poppies on Remembrance Day, that didn't mean that every Muslim in the world did it. Yes, SOME people are arseholes, but it'd be unfair to judge everyone by what they do.

Of course you can.

Yep. Doesn't take intellectual rigor to be a racist.
So if you call me a N-word, you're being racist against me...despite me having less pigment than than an albino.

Am I Outside the Asylum again?

And ffs, Welsh is NOT a race. Neither is English. Anglo-Saxon at a pinch, but even then. Welsh is a language, a heritage and a landmass, but it's NEVER been a race.

It's not even been the same language/heritage or landmass.

And African-American? Even less so.

was said by her to be.

Think on that.

We've no information that she's not just making this entire thing up. Especially as she's been done for racism in the past. You don't think there's a tiny chance she could be lying like a rug?

One thing nobody has picked up on and i'm shocked....

She was in Britain. Fellow Brits will know what I mean.

We are proud of one thing we do better than anyone else in the world....

We are devout queuers.

Oh yes people, us Brits can queue better than anyone else and woe betide any fucker that jumps spaces in one of those queues. We have manners dear woman, manners which you clearly lack with regards to the sacred queue. I do believe you would not be missed should you decide to never visit fair Britain again.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Racially decades behind things!?
LET ME LAUGH HARDER!
The UK, although constantly accused of racism, is actually one of the most equal countries in the world.
(yes it is)

Highly hypocritical.

I love how everyone just assumes she's lying.

I'm going by the assumption that she didn't make up any of the words she claims he said. I think that's reasonable, because why the fuck would she? If she thought he said something racist, she don't need to lie. And why assume she did? Are we supposed to dismiss every claim of racism as lies unless there's a recording and a verifying witness? How convienient.

But maybe she overreacted. Maybe the guy called her a slave in a jokey fun-loving way. It's possible that there was no ill will behind comparing her to Kunta Kinte. After all she's black, those people are known for overreacting to racist remarks.

Ah, well, if you want to really put your position to the test, I suggest you go find a Polynesian and call them a ******. If they get upset, explain how that isn't racist because Polynesians are an Asiatic people. Let us know how it goes.

Yes, no one celebrated the collapse of Communism in Europe more than the British, as it took away any dispute in the matter.

while we brits like to whine and complaine, and our older gerneration's seem to belive the fifties were a utopian paradise, we have made multiculturalism work.
Yes there are problems, there will allways be problems! And yes there is racism, there will allways be racism, but we have made it work, we take in these other cultures, absorb what they offer and give back things they didnt even know they had (half the currys today were invented in england :) )
the BNP can go fuck itself.

I live in North Wales. The only "racism" here is angry welsh people vocally insulting the English.
Why is racism in inverted commas? It is racism.
No its not. The welsh do it to the english, the English to the scots, the scots to other scots, and everyone does it to the Irish. The UK has the most love-hate relationship between countries ever.
Oh and we [English] do it to the Welsh too

What? My great-grandfather didn't ride around Palestine in WW1 shooting Turks and Germans just so people could act like that. No, he did it because it was his job... and for shit and giggles... and because he was a goddamned Australian... well a German immigrant to Australia but close enough.

An American is saying this? Oh wow.

But yeah, all 'racist' things said in Britain, are in completely different context.

Generally, there is little racism, for example. I love all races, but that doesn't mean I love everyone. I hate some whites, some blacks, some asians. You name it.

And because I hate that one individual, that somehow makes me racist. I know a lot of people that are in this situation, but use racist comments such as the 'n' word as ammo for their insult battle.

And generally, a lot of 'racist' chants are held quite high in British humor. Black people almost encourage us to be more comfortable with this sort of stuff. It's a good laugh in most respects. And everyone understands, keeps calm, and moves on.

She was picked up for exactly the same thing in Miami, and there's distinctly contradictory evidence in her testimony. Still, I'm not assuming anything.

See above. She pushes in, a Non-UK guy that's a picture-fit of what we assume is a racist responds to her with a racial epithet that's totally out of character with what a racist would say (Having spoken to some, the usual term would be "F****** N***** B****", not some slave mantra from a AMERICAN book written in '76), and then expecting the official to know that as well...and agree with it while shaking his head?

Maybe he just called her a C-word. It sounds similar, and it's what someone like that would call a woman he thought was over-reacting. That just makes him a jerk.

And finally, "Kunta Kinte" was played by Levar Burton - Geordi LaForge. Even if we're talking the sort of Trekkie that would know that, wouldn't he have sussed that he's a MAN?

I've read through this thread and Root has been the only person to say that she may have made the entire thing up, and all of a sudden now its everyone?

Most of the people in this thread have called her out on the fact she's claiming that britain is "racially decades behind progression" because of what two people did.

Funny, don't think I'd get the same response if I called them a Cracker. Perhaps it's to do with the words themselves having a different level of hatred attached?

But calling someone Welsh isn't racist. If they are or not. I doubt even your Polynesian friend would be insulted at that. I'd prefer not to directly hassle him on his racial line though - given I don't know it.
