It's just one of many, many examples. Why is it that women marrying very younger men is so much more horrid than the reverse (older men marrying younger women)? When that happens, all anyone ever says is, "oh good for him, he still has the stamina to handle that hot, young model". Just sayin'.

Why is this any of our business? Is it because they are kind of famous? Can someone explain to me why I need to know about this, and why I should care? None of these people are involved in my life in any way shape or form. If they want to get married, then they can get married. I don't care if there is a 50 year difference, and neither should any of us.

If this was the other way around and the dude was the older one, no one would give a crap. i don't see what the big deal is when a guy dates someone older.

Because when people see these sort of things, they're thinking old men marry young girls for sex and the young girls marry the old men for money. When an old woman marries a young man they're thinking... sex? And when a young man marries an old woman they're thinking... money?

It's generalized role reversal and it does give pause as it probably does not apply anywhere near as accurately in such situations.
