To clarify, celebs are usually just regular people (with a few exceptions; I'm looking at YOU Tom Cruise!!!) with notoriety. I'm sure if everyone in the world had all their life recorded and posted for inspection we'd see some far more bizarre shit than this.

If this was the other way around and the dude was the older one, no one would give a crap. i don't see what the big deal is when a guy dates someone older.
Because when people see these sort of things, they're thinking old men marry young girls for sex and the young girls marry the old men for money. When an old woman marries a young man they're thinking... sex? And when a young man marries an old woman they're thinking... money?

It's generalized role reversal and it does give pause as it probably does not apply anywhere near as accurately in such situations.

Reversal of what, exactly? You just wrote the same thing twice but put the subjects in a different order.

Well, I guess you can call that a reversal of sorts. I did understand what you were getting at... But FAIL, none-the-less.
K. You fail at... interpretation? Because I left it... open ended? As if people... don't know what to think?

old woman - young man
young man - old woman
And now I'm going to show you a move I learned after 14 years of internet.

Watch closely.

Are you watching.

Hmmm... Well, good mental note I guess. Guess this just fortifies my hatred for celebrities.
Really? Is it because when a celebrity marries someone way older or younger than themselves, someone feels the need to tell other people? What if someone who isn't famous does the same thing, and let's face it, people do this all the time, is it alright? Why hate people for doing what people do all the time, just because they are famous?
For the reason that, just because they're famous, I apparently need to know about, along with the rest of the world. They're no different from regular people, they just appear on TV and movie screens. The public obsession with them is insane and I honestly don't care for them. As long as they're not doing anything to end this obsession they're part of the problem.

Also, there's the whole buying worthless, unneeded mansions and spending their money on other unneeded shit...
Good point, but still, it's better to just slap the people who keep telling you about celebrities instead. Most celebrities don't do much to get in the media, but just go about enjoying their money and/or status, which you can't really fault them for. Most they can really do is to ignore that people are watching them seeing as those that try to get or avoid attention are those that get most of it.

I seriously thought this was a joke when I clicked on it. It is not. Gross, I mean by the time he's thirty she'll be in her fifties? I know some people are cool with Age gaps, but he probably has more in common with her kids than he does with her...

It says in that article that the guy said "she's a wonderful mother" to who, him or the kids she's already got? Or both!?

I love how they basically look almost the same age anyway.
Eh, the world of celebrities is a mostly-stupid one.

Funny how so many young men have the hots for cougars, yet this guy marries one and it seems strange. We should high-five the guy the trifecta of scoring an older lady, for his marriage and for the baby.

None. The private-life of the celebs is of no interest to me what so ever. Why did i check out this link? I've forgotten myself.

I have no idea who these people are, nor do I care, but if a chick in her 40s can rock it to the point where she gets knocked up by a young buck, all the power to her.

I've never cast serious eyes at any woman more than four years older than me and most of my girlfriends plus my ex-wife were a few years younger.
