And they say gay people are ruining the sanctity of marriage.
Allow me to add my voice to yours. Denying rights to people who have loved each other for decades while allowing this farce to be called a marriage... for moral reasons... really baffles me.

Why is this such a big issue? Is it really that important to go crazy over such a worthless story?
Why the hell does anyone care so much about celebrity marriages?
Did you think something like this would surprise you?
What is Kim even famous for? I've heard of her but don't know what she did to become famous.

Me and the topic creator already covered it.

Basically, her dead dad defended OJ Simpson. And she gets famous for it.

I wasn't surprised at all.
More importantly I'm sick of hearing about the Kardashians.
Seriously, I have something against the capital letter K. Seeing the letter K makes me sigh, because I associate it with this now.
Perhaps some kind soul might recommend me a new proper noun, starting with K, so that I might work through this terrible problem.
Thanks in advance.

Celebrity marriage... to another celebrity... and you actually followed it? Quick FYI: if it's covered in People magazine or US weekly, it's a scam for your attention (and advertising revenue). That entire side of show business is nothing more than (mostly staged) histrionics played out endlessly for histrionic people to identify with.

My thought on reading the title: Who is this and why should I care? Interestingly I was still thinking pretty much the same thing after reading the OP.

I guess the lives of celebrities just don't matter to me.

Uh...ok. First of all, does this really surprise anyone? And second... why on earth does anyone care?!

I never got what this was about, the name always made me think of Cardassians in Star Trek lol.

All I can think about this is:

The marriage only happened to jack up her publicity, and consequently this divorce is only making news to jack up her publicity.

An attention seeking, talentless bush pig.

all I can say is that ever since her sister married Lamar Odom, it's hard to watch basketball (when not locked out) without seeing sight of them.

I guess there's one bright side about NBA lock out.

Right now, UNESCO has admitted Palestine into their organization. The US as a result, is cutting funding to UNESCO.

Right now, China's new unmanned spaceship marks the next step in their space program, which will involve a Chinese space station.

Right now, Herman Cain, republican nominee and potential President of the United States of America, admitted that he had been charged with sexual harassment of an employee, and that they'd settled out-of-court.

Right now, studies are finding that anti-smoking regulations in hospitals may lead to health problems while patients freeze outside to take a puff.

Right now, a storm in new england has blacked out 1.7 million people.

Right now, Libya is forming an interim government.

There is important fucking shit going on in the world Right. Fucking. Now. Every bit of mental bandwidth donated to Kim Kardashian is brain-space that isn't being used on anything that actually matters.

I'm not sure I understand your comment about "who does that?" regarding registering for gifts. I mean...everyone who gets married registers for gifts. I think I just don't get your specific context.
I think he means if the marriage is a scam you'd at least have the decency not to demand gifts from people. I am not at all surprised by this and I'm furious at how much publicity this is getting. Three Aussy diggers just died in Afghanistan and you wanna know what our top news is? This and how much money Qantas is losing because of the strikes. I hate the media.
