Kind of team mate you hate in multiplayer?

Anyone remember CS bunnyhoppers back in the day? GOD.

In CoD:

Players who constantly die and then scream h4x over the the microphone or speak tab. Me and a buddy of mine got 43 of the 75 kills on our team the other day, mostly from this one chap who wasn't bad, but just a bit slow. Some people just can't take being killed more than twice by the same person without assuming they're cheating. Which also leads to the point many of you have brought up of players who think they're the shit, and are in fact, just shit.

Fucking snipers who may be exploiting. It's kind of hypocritical to the above paragraph, but watching the kill cams has made me very dubious as to whether you can actually make those shots.


L4D:

People who run off from the team and then go bananas when they die. I don't care about FF, being molotov'd or even accidentally incapp'd by their shotgun, but when you deliberately ignore the only way to win the game it gets my goat. It's been out two years, how have people not realised if you split up, you will die?

I mainly play co-op games and I've gotta say, the kind of team mate I hate most is the "rambo"...

the number of times I've had someone rage at me (usually the medic) because they ran off ahead of everyone and died, even when I'm not the medic, I still hate the rambo, they piss me off soooooo much!!!

I hate the ones that don't try and communicate and be actual team mates. DoW2 team battle is atrocious for this. I mean no one has even once said hello back to me at the start up screen or even acknowledged anything chat relative to the match in game.

The kind of teammate who follows me around and repeatedly stabs me for fun in COD4, annoying and distracting me so I don't notice the enemy who then perforates me, and finds me again when I respawn, but I can't kill him because there's no team attack and I didn't think of using a grenade at the time, and then when I leave the game out of frustration he sends me a an idiotic message and a friend request even though I want to find a way to strangle him over the internet for screwing up my first time on XBox Live with the 360 I got for my birthday that morning.

The ones that have their own agenda. I can stomach a bad team mate, the rest of the team can usually make up for their losses, but the ones that don't even bother to go for the objectives or leave you doing everything alone so they can get a couple extra kills reaaally piss me off.

Well, I only play Bad Company 2, so I've got plenty of grievances to be had there in terms of team "mates" I hate.
But my one biggest, most well despised team mate in that game?

Fucking Bush Wookies, morons who sit at the back of the map taking bloody pot shots at people and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn because "everyone wants to be the sniper", you're not a sniper, you're Recon, so do your damn job and stop being a useless dickhead who contributes nothing to the team and ends up with a KD of 3/2, otherwise I WILL spend a good 10 minutes saturating your line of sight with smoke grenades.

Personally I hate the "My team sucks!"-whiners. Especially if you play Arena in TF2 where teamwork really isn't the key. And they tend to start whining and yelling and moaning because they themselves ended up dead first. It just annoys the hell out of me.
It's a game. Shut up and wait for the next round.

I once joined a game on COD modern Warfare2 and was immediately set upon by 2 retarded 12yr old american kids. I use the same name on my 360 that I do here (add me if you like ^^) so when i popped up these 2 kids (one of which who was clearly hispanic judging from his accent use of words) said:

"Get your chinese ass the F*** out of here Dragunai"

To which I replied in my middle class, cambridge accent.

"Erm, Dude I'm English..."
(Im actually south african for the record, just grew up in England and developed the accent over time ^_^)

Ofcourse being obnoxious 12yr olds they just screamed over me and continued with their mindless unprovoked racism. Thankfully they were on the OTHER team and I spent the full 10 minute game hunting them and tearing their faces off. They left about 6 minutes in when their KD dropped below reasonable standards while the "chinese f***er" was sitting in the top 3 overall.

Hated team mates though?

The overly serious guy WHO TAKES THE GAME VERY SERIOUSLY BECAUSE THIS IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH DAMMIT!!!!!!!! Add in some extra cussing when your team is ONE point down and you get the idea.

The aforementioned brain damaged retard babies who play this game and hide behind their internet connection while mouthing off how they could kick your ass. yeh Im terrified of you and your puberty beard kid.

The English guy who for some reason uses the word C**t as often as I use nouns, verbs, grammar and for that matter, breathing.

The french kid who despite being the ONLY french person in the game doesnt shut the hell up and constantly shouts MERDE! into his mic when someone ganks him. Happened to me 3 times now and its equally frustrating in each instance.
(Merde is the french word for shit if I rememmber)

I havent experinced the Team killer since I stopped playing games like Halo 3 and CSS. CoD typically locks out Tks in anything but Hardcore mode and the 2 times I accidently killed a team mate in that mod I apologised on my headset. Got a "its all good" both times so its cool.

I remember I once jumped into a helicopter in Battlefield 2, I was in the nose gunner position and the kid flying it kept telling me to get out. He then flew to the edge of the map and hovered the nose of the chopper there to get me killed by the boundry.

It makes me wonder why these people play online games in team mode. If you hate having people around who might steal your internet glory and bragging rights, go play FFA mode then you can brag to all your stupid lil buddies in the playground about how awesome you are and have girls reject you even more effectively.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned (I'm not going to read through five pages of poats) but I HATE the guy who, when everything goes wrong, blames everyone else.

"Man you guys suck" or "Just let them win so I can get try again" etc. And it's always the same person who takes credit whenever things go well. I mean come on.

In MMOs I hate elitists. Were the only way to play the game is their way, so annoying.

In FPS games teamkillers, the intentional ones.

I don't tend to play alot multiplayer, at least not... stuff like CoD 4 and similar, but I am alot more into Left 4 Dead and Alien Swarm when it comes to MO games. The kind that bugs me is the ones that in, say, Left 4 Dead to just takes off. Just runs arounds and shoots. No strategy, gathers alots of zombies and forces the others to hurry up to him to save his blood covered, nekrophilia affected sorry ass.

Players who just give a fat @$$ when it comes to actual team playing kills the entire experience.

Anyone who actually puts stock by their rank, considering it's meaningless.

There might be perks involved by leveling up, like new guns in CoD, but your rank on the leaderboards means nothing. Anyone who thinks differently is kidding themselves and really doesn't have much self-esteem.
